At the moment, Hendrix just sighed and said, “My grandma and mom fought tonight. Do you know why?”

He looked at her. “Because my mom is dating someone.”

“Of course it’s important,” Hendrix cut her off and added, “So, you knew but chose to hide it from me? Do you know how stupid this is? If you’d told me earlier, I could have made preparations in advance. My grandma wouldn’t have caught them red–handed like that!
“Do you remember what I told you last time? My father might have illegitimate children, and my mother has been staying in the Freeman family with me just to get a share of Amity Group! But now, this happened! Do you want to see my grandma giving the shares to a bastard?”
Noelle didn’t know what to reply. Perhaps she should be happy since Hendrix never used to tell her things like that in the past. If he was doing it now, did it mean he was opening up?
However, this thought only flashed through her mind in an instant. She wasn’t crazy.
Opening up… This wasn’t his reason for not telling her things back then.
And the person she was now could no longer choose to accept her fate without resistance.
Noelle remained in the same spot. After staring at Hendrix for a moment, she chose not to say anything and turned to leave.
Hendrix’s frown deepened when he looked at her retreating back.
Soon, Noelle walked back, but she did not look at him. She just got into the bed and got ready to sleep.
Hendrix pulled her blanket away, and he held it tight, preventing Noelle from taking it.

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
