Seline quickly pressed down on Noelle's hand. "You shouldn't blame yourself. Everything you're doing right now is for her future. How about this? Since I'm free, I'll take Rosie back to Coppersville to stay with my parents once she has recovered.
"They've been missing her all this while, and I'm sure she misses them just as much. So, you don't have to worry about it being a trouble for them."
Noelle didn't respond.
Seline knew she might not take her up on her offer, but she didn't press on, nor did she force Noelle to give her an answer right away.
Instead, she said, "Let's go with this for now. You're tired, so why don't you head back for a rest first? I'll stay here with Rosie tonight."
"No, it's okay. You go back. I'll stay."
"But—"
"Do you really think I'll be able to fall asleep if I go back now?"
Seline couldn't refute Noelle's question, so in the end, she could only nod in agreement.
After watching Seline leave, Noelle slowly sat down by Rosie's bed.
Rosie just had her blood drawn, and there was still a mark on her forearm. Her hair was loose, making her face look somewhat pale.
Noelle wanted to reach out and touch her, but she was afraid of waking her up. So, she slowly withdrew her hand in the end.
After staring at Rosie for a while, she finally said, "I'm sorry, Rosie."
Her voice was barely a whisper, so soft only she could hear. Thus, Rosie remained asleep.

Over the next few days, Noelle became even busier, shuttling between the film set and the hospital. Sometimes, when Rosie suddenly craved a certain food, Noelle would return to the hotel to cook for her.

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
