In a fast–food restaurant, Rosie was munching on some fries while urging Seline, “So, Seline, you must help me find someone way more handsome–a thousand times better looking to be my dad!” 

Seline had rushed over, thinking something serious had happened, only to find it was all about this. She said helplessly, “But that was just what other people said. It has nothing to do with Ebony, right? I think he might actually be interested in your mom.” 

Rosie shook her head vigorously. “No way! He’s not worthy of being my dad!” 

Seline didn’t know how to respond, so she just chuckled. 

As Rosie continued eating her fries, she suddenly felt something cold drip onto the corner of her mouth. She instinctively touched it. 

At first, she thought it was ketchup, but the next moment, Seline rushed over to her side. 

“Why are you suddenly having a nosebleed? Come on! We’re going to the hospital!” 

This was Noelle’s second all–nighter on set. Under Ebony’s persistence, she eventually added two more scenes for him. The scenes were written on the spot with the other screenwriters, and the director was quite satisfied. 

However, word had it that Desiree wasn’t happy about it. 

To avoid running into her, Noelle planned to slip away as soon as they wrapped up. Unfortunately, that was when Desiree’s manager, Janet Palmer, showed up. 

“Ms. Swanson, Desiree would like to have a word with you about those two sce-” 

Before Janet could finish, Noelle’s phone rang. 

She turned pale in the face the moment she heard the voice on the other end. Without even saying goodbye, she spun around and ran off. 

“Ms. Swanson! Ms. Swanson!” Janet called after her a few times, but Noelle didn’t stop for a second. 

Gritting her teeth, Janet rolled her eyes at Noelle’s retreating figure. 

Back in the trailer, Desiree was scrolling through her phone as she asked absentmindedly, “How did it go?TM 

“Don’t even ask. She ran off before I could catch her,” Janet grumbled resentfully. “No idea what happened, but she was panicking so much that one would think the sky was falling or something.” 

Desiree chuckled coldly. “Looks like Ms. Swanson is quite full of herself.” 

“Full of herself‘? She didn’t hesitate at all when it came to adding scenes for Ebony,” said Janet, but then a sudden thought struck her. “By the way, what do you think their relationship is? Her daughter seems pretty close to Ebony.” 

Desiree’s fingers paused mid–motion on her phone screen. She then smirked and said, “If that’s true, things are about to get interesting. Oh, didn’t you say you know one of Ebony’s hardcore fans? Does she know her beloved celebrity is all buddy–buddy with a single mom?” 

Meanwhile, Noelle arrived at the hospital soon enough.
