As the year's major production, the adaptation naturally had its set tightly secured during filming. However, sometimes, it was impossible to avoid people sneaking photos.
As soon as Hendrix got out of the car, he noticed a woman crouching by the blue canopy with her camera trained on the people inside, snapping pictures.
He frowned.
Initially, he had intended to walk straight into the set.
Though the entertainment industry wasn't Amity Group's primary focus for development, he himself had invested in various film and television projects over the years. Thus, given his status, no one would dare to stop him from going into the set.
Yet, Hendrix halted abruptly in his tracks because he suddenly realized something—he didn't actually have the authority to enter.
When someone eventually asked him what he was doing here, he couldn't simply say he was bored and came over to take a look, could he? So, he remained rooted to the spot.
Soon after, he noticed that the woman taking the unauthorized photos wasn't aiming at the leading actors and actresses but at the makeshift rest canopy nearby.
Within that canopy were numerous crew members, amid scattered equipment. And despite the distance, Hendrix immediately recognized the woman seated at the computer.
The bespectacled woman was talking seriously to the person next to her while her child sat beside her, quietly drawing with a pen and paper.
They hadn't noticed him, so Hendrix didn't have to worry about anything and simply stood there, quietly watching them.
It was as if he were a plant growing in a dark and parched corner, so when the sunlight happened to fall on him, he immediately began to soak it up ravenously.
Suddenly, a voice filled with resentment and malice came from beside him, "That shameless bitch and her bastard daughter!"
Hendrix immediately turned his head. It was only then that he noticed the woman's camera was apparently aimed at Noelle.

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
