Noelle didn't comment on Seline's remark. In truth, she still didn't know who was behind the downfall of the Fisher family. But no matter who it was, she didn't want to ask about it anymore.
Once Rosie got off the carousel, the three of them left the arcade together.
Rosie was so excited from playing that her face was covered in sweat. Just as Noelle was about to crouch down to wipe it off, Seline suddenly grabbed her arm.
Her grip was tight, almost painful. Noelle couldn't help but frown.
But Seline seemed oblivious. She pointed ahead and said, "Look! Who's that?"
To avoid drawing attention, Seline kept her voice low and didn't point directly.
Noelle followed her gaze.
They were in a shopping mall, and with summer vacation in full swing, the place was crowded. So, for a moment, Noelle couldn't figure out who Seline was talking about.
Seline stomped her foot impatiently. "Right in front of you! The one about to enter the Armani store!"
Noelle wasn't wearing her glasses today. The distance Seline was referring to was a bit too much for her.
But fortunately, the store's lighting was bright, and the woman's striking black wavy hair caught her eye. Noelle finally recognized her—it was Hendrix's new girlfriend, Angela.
"I see her. And?" Noelle asked Seline.
"Are you blind? Don't you see the man next to her?"
With Noelle's eyesight, spotting Angela was already a stretch, so how could she possibly see the man beside her?
Seeing that the two had already entered the store, Seline didn't hesitate. She immediately pulled Noelle forward.
"Why are we going over there?" Noelle instantly guessed Seline's intention.
Seline waved her off and dragged Noelle away.
Shortly after leaving the mall, they saw the two holding hands and entering a nearby hotel.
Seline almost burst out laughing. "Go on. Tell me. What siblings or friends of the opposite sex go to a hotel together?"
Before Noelle could respond, Seline grew even more gleeful. "Isn't Hendrix supposed to be so impressive? Look at this! He hasn't been dating Angela for long, and she's already cheating on him with a side dude. Ha! This is hilarious!"
Rosie had been with them the whole time. Hearing what Seline said, she asked, "Mommy, what's a 'side dude'?"
Seline had been too busy laughing to remember Rosie was still there.
Noelle glanced at her, waiting for her to stop laughing before turning to Rosie. "It's nothing. Let's go home."

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
