"Then why is Seline laughing?" Rosie asked.
"She just remembered something happy," Noelle answered.
"Yes, I'm happy. Very happy," Seline echoed, immediately following Noelle's lead. Then, she added, "Let's go, Rosie. I'll send you home."
"Oh…" Rosie was clearly still puzzled, but neither of them seemed inclined to explain further, so she didn't press the matter.
Seline personally drove them back to Sienna Villa. She was in a good mood the entire way, humming a tune as she gripped the steering wheel. She could hardly wait to call Hendrix and tell him to catch Angela in the act at the hotel.
But she held herself back. After all, Hendrix catching Angela red-handed wasn't enough. Seline wanted everyone in their social circle to know so that Hendrix would be completely humiliated.
"Don't stir up trouble," Noelle said bluntly from the back seat.
Seline paused. "I'm not. What did I do?"
Noelle didn't believe her. "In any case, it's their business. So, don't meddle in them."
Seline pouted. "Are you sure about that? You know Hendrix actually has to thank me if I told him about it, right? I mean, if it weren't for me, who knows how long he'll be kept in the dark about this?
"But I'm not going to tell him. He's just a fool in everyone's eyes now, and serves him right!"
Noelle didn't say anything more. Whether Hendrix was a fool or not didn't matter to her.
Seline clicked her tongue and continued, "He really does deserve it. Every woman he's involved with now is only after his money and status. I doubt there's anyone in this world who would ever truly love him like—"
The unfamiliar middle-aged man beside him immediately nodded at Noelle, but before she could respond, Hendrix stepped slightly to the side to block their line of sight.
"I wanted to take her back to live in the city, but she refused," Hendrix continued. "Now that you're living here, I hope you can keep an eye on her and help me take care of her."
Noelle wanted to say that there were plenty of household staff in the house, so it probably wouldn't fall to her to care for Beatrice. But once those words reached her lips, she swallowed them back down and simply nodded.
"Alright."
Hendrix then glanced down at Rosie, who was standing beside Noelle.
This time, Rosie no longer tried to hide. The usual timid way she looked at him was gone, as it was replaced by wariness.

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
