The Sway and Slide of Love novel Chapter 622

Noelle knew Hendrix all too well. So the moment she saw the doctor, she knew exactly what he was planning to do. She immediately took a few steps back.

By then, Hendrix had already stepped forward. Noelle's pupils widened slightly, and without a second thought, she tried to push past him to rush outside.

But she couldn't even break free from Hendrix's grip, let alone with so many people around. Thus, she was quickly pinned down on the bed, and the doctor prepared to inject her with a sedative.

"Let me go! Hendrix, let me go! What does it matter to you what I do? Let go of me!" Noelle began to struggle fiercely, her voice sharp as if it could pierce through anything.

But their movements didn't falter, and the doctor plunged the needle into her arm without any hesitation.

"You bastard! Hendrix Freeman, you are a total bastard! I need to find Rosie. I just want to find my daughter—what right do you have to stop me? I hate you! I hate you!"

Tears streamed down Noelle's face, but her voice grew weaker, along with her struggling.

Everyone else had already let go, except for Hendrix, who was still holding her down. His expression didn't change at all when he heard her say "I hate you".

He even replied, "It's fine. Just hate me, then. As long as you're alive, that's all that matters to me."

Alive? How could she stay alive? If something really happened to Rosie, how could she face living in this world?

It was all because of her negligence. Everything was her fault. All she wanted now was to find her. Why wouldn't they let her go? Why was everyone stopping her?

Noelle wanted to say more, but her limbs were slowly losing strength, and her mind was growing foggy. Finally, she was swallowed whole by an endless darkness.
