"Forget it," Noelle quickly said. "There's no point in me asking when he obviously doesn't want to tell me."
Beatrice hadn't expected the conversation to take this turn. She was about to explain on Hendrix's behalf when Noelle took Rosie's hand. "Let's go rest over there."
Rosie nodded eagerly at Noelle's suggestion. She had been riding for a while, and her cheeks were flushed from the sun.
Beatrice watched them leave, then quietly pulled out her phone to send a message to Hendrix.

"I'm in Tilwick. It'll probably take two or three days to handle things here. You and Rosie should stay at Sienna Villa for now. I'll pick you up when I get back."
"I'm at the airport."
"The plane is about to take off."
"Just got off the plane. Heading to the hotel now."

These were the messages Hendrix sent to Noelle throughout his trip. He even included several photos corresponding to each update.
Noelle stared at the endless stream of messages, her fingers hovering over the screen for a moment before finally replying, "Got it."
She had thought her brief reply would make Hendrix stop messaging her. But to her surprise, it didn't.
If anything, he seemed even more motivated after seeing her response. He proceeded to send her details about the hotel he was staying at, the room's layout, and even his schedule for the next two days.
Noelle eventually muted his notifications.
For some reason, the moment Noelle realized this, the first person who came to mind was Dylan. After a long hesitation, she finally sent Hendrix a message, asking about the situation.
But he didn't reply.
Just as Noelle assumed he was too busy to check his phone, she suddenly received an incoming video call from him.
She hesitated for a moment but ultimately answered the video call.
"Is Rosie asleep?" His voice was a little hoarse, his gaze fixed on her.
"Yeah," Noelle replied softly.
"Did you miss me?"

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
