“Six o’clock. Do you see the man standing there?” Brandon asked.
He and Noelle were dancing. So, their bodies were pressed up against each other.
It had been a long time since Noelle had done something this fun, and her breathing became a little uneven now. The tip of her nose was covered in sweat as well.
After she heard what Brandon asked, she immediately looked over.
“Yeah. So?”
“That’s the son of Brennan Townsend, the CEO of Tidalwaye Holdings. He has been watching you for a while now. I’ll introduce you two later, and you’ll dance with him for awhile. How does that sound?”
Noelle chuckled. “Why should I?”
“I’m going to collaborate with Brennan.” Brandon didn’t hide anything from Noelle, either.
He continued, “If you help me this once, I will let you have direct shares in the production of your comic adaptation. If the TV series becomes insanely popular, you’ll get your fair share of profits as well.”
Noelle merely chuckled again. It seemed like she wasn’t much interested in what Brandon offered. Brandon wasn’t surprised by her reaction, either. He kept going and said, “Naturally, you won’t be tempted. money. However, isn’t this your way of boosting your confidence?”
This time, Noelle didn’t retort. After she pondered on it for several seconds, she asked, “When you said you needed my help, did you mean for me to dance with him?”
“Of course not.” Brandon chuckled. “Tidalwave Holdings is gaining a reputation now, and there are a lot of people who want to talk to Brennan’s son tonight. If you have a dance with him, then I’m going to need you to put in some good words for me.”

“I don’t know him at all. What makes you think he’ll listen to me?”
“Yeah. Afterward, I need you to find out if Brennan would have a private meal with me.” Brandon listed his demands naturally. Meanwhile, what he said also let Noelle know that she had to successfully ask Brennan out for a meal for their deal to go through.
Noelle fell silent briefly before she nodded. “Okay.”
Brandon smiled, feeling satisfied. At that moment, their dance had come to an end as well.

Brandon chuckled and led Noelle over to Clark Townsend’s side. “Hi, Mr. Townsend.”
Clark nodded at Brandon before he glanced at Noelle. After he scanned her from head to toe, he asked, “You danced wonderfully. Are you a professional dancer?”
There v were a lot of party guests tonight. On top of that, Brandon owned Magnolia Pictures, which held a prestigious presence in the entertainment industry. It was completely normal for him to bring a professional dancer with him tonight.
“Not at all. I’m just dancing casually.”
“It doesn’t look casual to me.”
“It’s just that I’m quite familiar with the previous songs. I might be out of my depth if I am to dance to the next

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
