The True Heiress Slays (Quiana) novel Chapter 150

Chapter 150

At Magnolia Palace, Quiana took a shower and, after a nap, woke up to find it was already eight in the evening. Her phone was filled with messages.

Alina: [Someone is saying you were kidnapped from the training camp, Quiana. Where are you now?]

Alina: [Are you there? You’re scaring me!]

There were a dozen messages.

Quiana was brushing her teeth when she replied with one hand. [I’m at Magnolia Palace.]

Alina: [Wait for me. I’ll be there soon!]

Quiana: [Bring me some pasta, thanks.]

Alina arrived quickly without pasta. She had grabbed some food from Riverfield. As soon as she stepped in, she impatiently asked, “I heard that someone saw you at the hospital, along with people from the Wilson family and Hanson family. What’s going on?”

Quiana put down her beer, took a couple of bites of her food, and then answered, “It’s all been sorted out.”

Alina wasn’t there for that. “What about the training camp? Are you going back?”

Quiana thought for a moment. “I am.”

Alina frowned so hard. “You’re seen as a useless girl in the training camp. You’ve been there for a few days before you were taken away. Once it airs, the haters will come at you again.”

Quiana glanced at her but didn’t say anything.

Quiana had just gotten up the next morning when the doorbell rang. It was Julius and Zack, with William behind them. Leo was carrying a food box while William was holding a large pile of gift boxes.

“Ms. Levine,” William said politely, “I want to thank you again on behalf of my son. As an apology, let me give you a ride back to the training camp.

Last night, he had transferred fifteen million dollars to her. He thought that was a generous amount. After all, someone who came from a slum like Quiana had probably never seen so much money in her life.

However, what he didn’t know was that the fifteen million dollars wouldn’t even be enough to buy the medicine sent by Bryson, let alone afford the surgery done by The Seraphic.

Quiana didn’t say much. She tilted her head slightly and accepted it.

In the cafeteria on Liberty Island, Luna quietly asked, “Hey, do you think Quiana will come back?”
