The True Heiress Slays (Quiana) novel Chapter 163

Chapter 163

Just then, a commotion came from the doorway. Everyone looked over. In the corridor outside, Viola was patting her clothes, hopping mad. This is my performance outfit for today. Can you afford to pay for it if it gets damaged?”

“Sorry, sorry, I’m in a rush, really sorry!” Viola said.

The woman opposite Viola bowed deeply, her face hidden, but the fear in her voice was evident. Fortunately, the outfit was unharmed. A crowd gathered around. Besides the audience, there were journalists present today.

Viola, suppressing her anger, shouted at the woman, ‘Get lost!” The woman bowed again, apologized profusely, and then turned to enter the fourth dressing room. As she lifted her head, she froze.

“Qu–Quiana?” Lena stared in disbelief, never expecting to see Quiana here.

Quiana arched an eyebrow, her gaze flickering lightly over the doorway, a mischievous glint in her smile. “Every time I see you, you seem to be rushing around recklessly.”

Quiana was talking about what just happened at the door. It seemed that it had indeed been the case the last few times Lena’s face turned red, her ears warming, her eyes welling up with moisture as she bit her lip. “I–I didn’t mean to.”

You two Wendy was taken aback. “Do you know each other?”

“I don’t–Lena replied.

They did know each other, but Lena didn’t dare to acknowledge any connection with Quiana. Just as she was trying to gather her thoughts. Quiana’s voice cut in.

na cut in before Lena could finish. “She is my friend.” Her tone was clear and decisive, without a hint of hesitation.

“Huh?” Not only w Wendy and the others taken aback, but even Lena was stunned. Jessica and the others were surprised because they never thought someone like Quiana would have friends.

Lena was surprised because she never expected Quiana to consider her a friend, her eyes welling up slightly.

“What are you all standing around for?” Jocelyn suddenly appeared at the door.

“Ms. Cooper.” The girls quickly greeted her

“Nothing much.”

Wendy also snapped back to reality and asked Lena, “You’re here to do makeup, right? You can start with Quiana.”

Lena nodded and hurriedly picked up her makeup kit and went over. In the mirror, Quiana sat with one leg crossed over the other, her posture relaxed and exuding a confident air.

Quiana’s face was already bright and striking; even without makeup, it outshone everyone else’s. Applying heavy makeup would be overkill.
