Even if that was their plan. Quiana’s public exposure left Mandy and Simon looking like they’d seen a ghost.
Quiana wasn’t someone they could push around. Knowing this, Simon checked the time and said firmly, “Come with us to Riverfield first. Edward wants to see you” He added. “You really don’t want to mess with the Hawley family.”
Hugo looked at Quiana, his brows knitted with worry. He really didn’t want her to go.
Quiana playfully flicked his forehead. “Pack up and head home”
Hugo replied. “Okay”
Mandy and Simon tried to hustle Quiana out of there, but a Cayenne suddenly blocked their path.
A middle–aged man in a sharp suit stepped out of the car. He glanced at the signs, then focused on the group, finally locking eyes on Quiana. In a deep voice, he asked, “Are you Ms. Quiana Levine?”
This man had a calm demeanor and an air of nobility: he was clearly no ordinary person. Mandy and Simmon were momentarily taken aback, frowning.
Quiana nodded slightly. “Yes”
The man visibly relaxed, pulling a business card and handing it to Quiana. Tm Jordan Parker, Vice President of East Aploth Airlines. I heard you have a kind of pill that can cure heart and brain issues, so I came to buy it.”
East Aploth Airlines was a big deal in the aviation industry. Their business was nationwide. It was like they owned the skies.
Simon’s eyes widened in shock. “Are you really Jordan, Vice President of East Aploth Airlines?”
Jordan nodded. “Yes”
The Larson family was a big deal even in Janivielle and was always in the spotlight as part of the rich and powerful. Yet East Aploth Airlines was out of their league.
But here today, the formidable Vice President of East Aploth Airlines was standing right in front of them.
Simon was taken aback for a moment and then asked, “Why would you come to a place like this, Mr. Parker?”
Jordan, not knowing Simon, frowned slightly and directed his gaze to Quiana, asking, “Who are these two?”
Tm Simon, and this is my wife, Mandy,” Simon promptly introduced himself.
Jordan frowned and shook his head, saying, “I don’t know you.”
It was the first time someone said they didn’t know the Larsons. The smiles on Simon and Mandy’s faces became a bit
awkward.
Mandy tried another way to introduce themselves, saying, “We’re Quiana’s parents.”
Jordan wasn’t interested in small talk. He nodded to show he understood, and then turned to Quiana and politely asked, “Ms. Levine, do you still have any of those special pills?”
Quiana made a small sound of annoyance and pointed behind her, saying, “Since you’re here, you should know my rules, right?”
Behind her, Hugo was taking down the sign, casually tossing it into the basket of the tricycle, signaling the booth was closed.

Jordan’s expression remained unchanged, and he calmly said, “Ms. Levine, I’ll take whatever you have left. Just name your price.”
“Wait a minute!” Simon and Mandy, confused, couldn’t help but interrupt, “What is this pill you’re talking about?”
Since they just claimed to be Quiana’s parents, Jordan patiently gave a brief explanation. “It’s a medicine for heart and brain.
