Quiana spat out her chocolate bar and chugged some beer, giving Hugo a cold smirk. “Get rid of him, and then Quintanal and Septana would go to war, and you’d be left cleaning up the mess?”

“Whoa! No way…” Hugo was stunned, his eyes wide with shock. “Is him the boss of Quintana?”

Quiana glanced at the data on her computer screen, her eyes half–squinted and cold as ice. She didn’t expect the boss of Quintana to be Julius, a guy half–alive and stuck in a wheelchair.

After snapping out of it. Hugo murmured softly, “With your medical skills, couldn’t you just wave a finger and make him die from his sickness?”

Quiana raised her hand and gave him a gentle tap on the head, watching as both he and the wolf in his arms flinched. Calmly, she said. “If you’re bored, go find something to learn.”

The next morning, there was a loud knock on the basement door. Hugo, with his mess hair, got up and opened the door just as Alina rushed in from outside, asking. “Where’s Quiana?”

Hugo vawned, “She’s still asleep.”

“Still asleep?” Alina’s voice immediately rose. “It’s already ten, and she has no clue about the huge mess outside?”

“What? Did the sky fall?” Quiana leaned against the bedroom door, wearing a black silk nightgown. Her skin was perfect, exuding a seductive allure.

“It’s worse than the sky falling!” Alina said through clenched teeth. “You’ve been fired from “Burning Youth‘!”

Quiana’s comeback was a big deal for Stellar Entertainment. Everyone at the company was praying. In today’s entertainment world, it was all about profits–newbies came and went at lightning speed.

Stellar Entertainment had already hit hard times, and Alina hadn’t managed anyone for years. The few contacts she used to have now avoid her like the plague when they hear about Quiana.

“Burning Youth” was a small project, so Afina thought she’d give it a shot. But when she got to the set to meet the director, she got the news,

“He went on about a bunch of stuff, but the bottom line is, the investor thinks you’re bad luck. They said they’d pull their money if you acted, and they can’t afford to upset the investors, so they had to let you go,” Alina complained.

The role was set, the show had started filming, but then Quiana was fired. This is a first in the entertainment industry. The news would probably be all over soon.

Quiana looked at her phone, full of missed calls and messages from Cassie and Evelyn about this issue. She scrolled through quickly, raised an eyebrow, and asked, “Who’s the investor?”

Alina replied, “Keith Hawley”

Hugo, listening in, frowned, “Why is it someone from the Hawley family again? Is it another one of them?”

Alina didn’t look too happy. “He’s from the Hawley family, actually the eldest son’s kid.”

Quiana raised an eyebrow. “Could it be another one of Julius’s nephews? There sure are a lot of them.”

Quiana calmly replied while texting back. “What’s the rush?”

Alina was so angry. “Relying on you to make us famous? Might as well set myself on fire!”
