Keith stopped signing his name, his eyes narrowing even more as he looked at Nolan. “Nolan, you’re not trying to stir up trouble between me and Julius, are you!”

Nolan was young, but he wasn’t dumb. He saw the family drama with the Hawleys clear as day. There wasn’t much he could do, but Julius could handle it. Instead of arguing with Keith, Nolan just turned and walked away.

On the movie set, the crew was all about Winona. “That was perfect, Winona! You’re amazing!”

“No wonder she’s the new star!”

The crew was busy praising Winona when Quiana caught their eye, making them go quiet for a second.

Quiana was wearing a black hoodie and denim shorts, showing off legs that seemed to go on forever. Her skin was shining in the sunlight, almost glowing, and under her black baseball cap was a face that was a total knockout.

Quiana had this pride and class, and she commanded the room, making everyone whisper with curious looks.

Winona’s face changed, and she asked, surprised, “Quiana, didn’t you get kicked off the crew? Didn’t anyone tell you?”

Quiana pushed her hat up with a finger, her eyes bright and full of attitude. The onlookers had to admit that she was a top- tier face in Hollywood, but with her past and all those scandals, it was enough to make anyone feel sick.

“How can she show up here after getting fired? Seriously, it is so shameless.”

“Coming from the slums, does she even know shame?”

“Is she trying to use Winona to get back on the crew?”

Alina felt her eye twitch and quietly warned, “Girl, we’re on set, with eyes everywhere. You can’t mess up your image now, so don’t do anything crazy.”

Quiana raised an eyebrow and scoffed, ‘Do I even have an image?” She sounded like she didn’t care at all.

Winona clenched her teeth, pinched her fingers, and tears welled up in her eyes. In her white dress and makeup, she looked really sad. “Quiana, I know you want to act, but you’ve already been kicked off, and I can’t do anything about it…”

Hearing Winona’s words, people pointed the finger at Quiana. “Know your place! The Larsons took you back, and Winona doesn’t owe you anything!”

“After getting kicked out, you still come back with no shame. Can’t get a role by sleeping your way in, so now you want to use Winona?”
