Yvette’s eyes scanned the group. Suddenly, her eyes widened as she saw the quiet girl hidden among the crowd, getting up gracefully. The noisy auditorium went silent in an instant. 

Under everyone’s gaze, Shakira walked slowly and lightly onto the stage, standing alongside other top students from different departments. 

After a brief silence, the auditorium burst into an uproar. 

“What’s the matter?! Is our department’s mysterious top student Shakira again?!” 

“No way. Wasn’t she missing that listening part? And she still came first? Is she even human?!” 

“This is unbelievable! Are you sure there’s no behind–the–scenes manipulation?!” 

Just when everyone was shocked and skeptical, a message popped up in the class group chat. Xanthe posted a screenshot, and it was Shakira’s report card. 

Only heaven knew how long she had been waiting for this moment! 

Seeing everyone shocked and Yvette’s face almost distorted from trying to hold back, Xanthe burst into laughter. They dared to look down on Shakira. Now their smug faces were getting a real slap! 

“Oh wow, her total score is thirty points higher than Yvette’s? That’s shockingly impressive!” 

“In almost every subject, she scored nearly perfect, and in the listening section, she got half of the points. How did she even do that?”

When Yvette staggered back to Rebecca like a zombie, she clearly saw the angry expression on Rebecca’s face. She softly called out. “Mom…” 

Rebecca’s face was so dark. “Didn’t you say she failed the test and did poorly?” Just recently, she had been showing off to them, saying Yvette got second place and telling those who didn’t do well to step back…

Walter’s face remained unchanged, but a rare smirk appeared on the corner of his lips. “Nothing is surprising about it. She’s always been number one.” 

His tone was filled with pride, and it was evident that he was genuinely proud.
