Mitchell was lying quietly on the bed, looking much thinner than he had been a few months before the accident. His face was pale with a pair of sunken eyes. His lips were almost bloodless and the only thing that made him look alive. 

Shakira glanced at the numbers on the machine, frowning. Jasmin followed her inside and said lightly. “His injuries are severe. You performed the surgery so you know it the best. He’s so lucky that he’s alive, thanks to your devilish skill.‘
