Cody was determined to meet Norman, so he decided to wait outside the side ball. Unexpectedly, instead of meeting Norman, he saw Shakira coming out leisurely from inside. 

Cody got furious at once. He immediately pointed at Shakira and scolded her. Yvette was a little surprised. 

Last night, after landing, Berry sent her a bunch of voice messages, so she knew Shakira was in Silverwave Bay. She just didn’t expect Shakira to come to Silverwave Mountain. 

Yvette thought, ‘Could it be that Shakira has been really unlucky lately and came to pray for some help? With this thought, Yvette couldn’t help but smile gloatingly.

The young man paused and then calmly said, “This lady is a guest of Master Norman, Mr. Nelson. Please stay quiet.” 

Cody was stunned. 

His eyes widened in disbelief. He thought, ‘Shakira is Master Norman’s guest? Our Nelson family has donated nearly 300 thousand dollars to the church over the years, yet as the head of the family, I can’t even meet Mr. Bethune in person. 

‘But Shakira is Master Norman’s guest?‘ 

The other people waiting on either side couldn’t stand it anymore and started to criticize Cody, “That young lady has been quiet, while you keep yelling and acting rudely. 

“You think you can act unreasonably just because you’re rich? Aren’t you ashamed of blaming others?”

Cody couldn’t stand the sarcasm any longer. He angrily stormed over to the pavilion where Shakira was. 

Before Cody could do anything, the young man who was sweeping the snow suddenly moved. He reached Shakira first. He turned slightly to take a defensive stance, and his expression was still calm. 

Feeling frustrated and upset, Cody could only point at Shakira and shout, “You have the nerve to meet Master Norman? You ruthless and scheming bastard! Aren’t you afraid of staining this divine place and getting karma?” 

Hearing this, Shakira stayed silent. She just raised her cold eyes and glanced at Yvette, who was following behind Cody and waiting to see her embarrass herself with a smile. 

Suddenly, Shakira gave a sly smile and spoke in a deep voice, “Indeed, there is someone here who has done many bad thing and deserves retribution.” 

Yvette’s heart unexpectedly skipped a beat when she heard that. She instinctively looked at Shakira. Seeing her sly smile, Yvette was scared and quickly hid behind Cody. Her heart was pounding uneasily.

“Bless you,” a distant voice interrupted Cody just as he was about to say some bad words out of anger. 

Cody shivered and paused as if struck by something. 

Everyone turned around at once. Norman had already walked out of the side hall in his red robe. Beneath his white brows were deep, kind eyes, looking gentle yet firm. 

Norman said, “Words can harm, Mr. Cody. Please choose them wisely. 

It was only then doing Cody realized that he almost said something wrong, and his expression quickly changed. 

Then Cody finally noticed Walter coming out from behind Norman. Meeting Walter’s cold eyes, Cody shivered. He suddenly understood why Shakira was here. 

Cody finally realized that he almost made an unforgivable mistake. 

He stammered, “Master Norman, it was all a misunderstanding.. 

Then he apologized repeatedly to the church worker, “I’m really sorry for offending you, sir.” 

The church worker said seriously, “The person you truly owe an apology to is this lady, Mr. Cody.” 

Cody’s expression froze, but in the end, he had no choice but to apologize to Shakira.
