“Wow! Do you know Mr. Jennings? Is he as good–looking in person as he is in the magazines?” 

“Hmm, he’s okay,” Berry replied casually, fiddling with her shiny nails. “Among ordinary people, Mr. Jennings definitely stands out, but compared to those few, he’s still not quite impressive.” 

The girls nearby were almost dying of envy. They thought, ‘If Mr. Jennings is just okay, then how amazing must Mr. Clifton and Mr. White be? Not to mention the high–achieving Mr. Lopez… Berry is truly living the good life!‘ 

Watching Berry naturally enjoy the flattery and admiration, clearly having a good time, Shakira sarcastically curled her lips and knocked on the glass harder.

Shakira noticed Berry looking flustered after seeing her. She spoke calmly, “My name is Shakira Nelson. I’m the new intern in Marketing Team Four, responsible for monitoring the progress of Norpa Technology.” 

“An intern who just started today? Maris actually sent a brand–new intern to brush us off?” Wendy turned angry. Next to her, a young assistant gently pulled at her sleeve. “Even if she’s an intern, she’s part of Lopez Group…” 

Wendy pushed the assistant aside, snorting through her nose and pointing at Shakira’s face. “Where’s Maris? Get Maris here. It’s bad enough she held up our approval before, and now with Mr. Lopez’s…” 

Just as Wendy was about to speak more, she paused abruptly and then changed her approach. “Anyway, our project is very important. It’s not something a random intern can understand. Quickly get Maris over here, or we won’t have this meeting today!”

Shakira frowned and was about to say something when she noticed the group of people outside had arrived at the door, all of them smiling as they looked into the conference room. 

Everyone in the conference room was stunned at the sudden appearance of Benji, Calton, and the others. Benji, Calton, Gavin, and even Kyle, who rarely showed up, were all present. 

The girls who were just asking Berry about Calton and Gavin almost popped their eyes out in shock. 

Benji cleared his throat and tried to act serious. “We’re just doing a routine check. Aren’t you guys having a meeting? Carry 

on.” 

Maris winked at Shakira and then naturally took over to continue the conversation with Wendy for her. 

Wendy, who had been shouting at Shakira earlier, was now terrified by the impressive scene and didn’t dare to misbehave 

anymore. 

Both sides temporarily put aside their grudges and began the meeting. Benji and his group observed for a while before casually leaving the conference room.
