Chapter 90
Donavan grinned maniacally as he approached Shakira. Just as he bent down to pick up the evening’s feast, he was suddenly struck by a painful sensation from the arm that Shakira had whipped with her scarf.
Lago Jessie followed out and, seeing Shakira already on the ground with no way to escape, finally breathed a sigh of relief Thankfully, they had made preparations in advance; Shakira was 100 wary of them!
“Mr. Blondel, let’s have a drink and discuss our cooperation. My wife will send the person to your room,” Lago flattered with a cheerful laugh. His tone was as if he were discussing a simple transaction of ordinary goods.
Jessie rushed forward, roughly pulling Shakira.
Donavan immediately expressed his dissatisfaction. “If she gets hurt and ruins her looks, the price will definitely be discounted.”
“You old hag, be gentle!” Lago exclaimed, clearly agitated. This was about money; he couldn’t afford any mistakes.
Jessie instantly became gentle, pressing Shakira down. She struggled to hold herself up, forcing a smile on her face. “Mr. Blondel, don’t worry, I guarantee she won’t lose a single hair.”
Donavan waved his hand dismissively. “Let’s hurry up and finish so I can get to work.”
Lago hunched over, guiding them toward the private room. “Yes, yes, Mr. Blondel, right
this way…
Jessie maintained her smile until Donavan entered the room, at which point she dropped the facade. Gritting her teeth, she raised her hand high toward the unconscious Shakira. “You little slut, still being arrogant with me!” Just as she was about to strike that smooth face, Jessie abruptly stopped
Filled with reluctance and resentment, she quickly replaced it with a smile, her eyes gleaming with bitterness transformed into pleasure. “What good is being arrogant? You’ll still be played out by men!”
Donavan was somewhat infamous in the circle–not only was he successful in business, but his reputation was also quite terrible. He was known for being cruel and perverted in affairs, once leaving someone paralyzed, and then easily settling it with money.
Tonight, Shakira will either be ruined or left in tatters! Thinking that Shakira would become a broken shoe by tomorrow, Jessie felt quite pleased and dragged her into the elevator.
To curry favor with Donavan, Lago had booked the high–end diamond suite on the top floor. As the elevator doors opened, before she could pull Shakira out, they collided with a group of then in suits.
“I heard the top five wealthy families are upstairs; should we go say hello?” The men all looked toward Mitchell at the center. “No, Mitchell replied irritably and then turned to see the two in the elevator.
“Shakira?” Mitchell immediately recognized Shakira and then noticed Jessie. Seeing that Shakira was already unconscious, he reached out and grasped her arm, feeling her burning body. low come you two are together? What happened to her?”
Jessie was taken aback. “Mr. Lopez? We, we had dinner together tonight; Shakira was happy and drank too much, so I’m taking her to her room to rest. Saying this, she hurriedly tried to drag Shakira away.
However, Mitchell was suspicious. He didn’t smell any alcohol on Shakira, and he knew how much she despised Lago and Jessie, there was no way she would get drunk with them! Something was definitely wrong! Realizing this. Mitchell forcefully took Shakira away from Jessie.
Jessie’s face changed drastically as she attem
to snatch her back. “Hey, Mr. Lopez…”

Without needing Mitchell to say it, several of his friends, having received his signal, immediately pushed Jessie back into the elevator. Surrounded by several big men, Jessie could only watch in anger as Mitchell took Shakira away, nearly driving her crazy!
Mitchell quickly had a suite opened by a waiter. He laid Shakira on the sofa and slapped her face. “Shakira, Shakira, wake up. Shakiral
Shakira felt pain on her face, slowly mumbling, “Don’t… don’t touch me… I’m so hot, so hot… She squinted, her eyes shimmering with moisture, and her face gradually flushed. She almost lost her consciousness, instinctively trying to pull off her clothes.

After experience, Mitchell could easily tell the situation now, “Damn it! They actually drugged you! Hospital, I’m taking you to the hospital!” Just as he was about to carry her, Shakira reached out to touch him. Mitchell was so startled that he jumped back immediately. “No, I’m not; Shakira, wake up!” Seeing Shakira in such distress, he suddenly thought of something and quickly walked out. “Wait for me; someone will come to save you soon!”
Walter returned to the top floor, ignoring his friends‘ teasing and jokes; his expression was worse.
Calton whistled, puzzled. “Isn’t Mr. Lopez personally backing the little flower? Why does he come back looking like this? Which blind idiot angered our Mr. Lopez?”
Gavin smiled. “Walter, you little flower, you’re quite bold. Generally, women wouldn’t dare to ask you for such favors so easily.
Walter sipped his drink, his tone unhappy. “I owe her a favor; you don’t understand, so don’t talk nonsense.”
“Huh? A favor? Are you sure you’re not talking about love?”
Kyle couldn’t help but shake his head, kindly reminding him, “You guys should talk less; be careful he gets angry and takes it
out on you.
The two exchanged glances and made a zipping motion over their mouths, not daring to provoke further.
Just then, there was a commotion outside, and the door was kicked open. “Walter!” Mitchell rushed in, striding straight
toward Walter.
Walter’s eyelid twitched, and he cast a cold glance, continuing to drink his alcohol.
Brian stepped in front. “Mitchell, what do you want?”
Mitchell tried to push Brian aside but realized he couldn’t budge him at all. Having run over, he was already drenched int sweat. Grabbing Brian’s clothes, he looked over him at Walter, who was completely ignoring him, and in his urgency, he shouted, “You need to come with me right now; Shakira is in trouble!”
Walter’s grip on the glass froze.
