When Cecilia came out of the ward, she was relieved to see that the bodyguards were not worried at all. 

When she took the elevator downstairs, she ran into Yvette who was delivering lunch to Fiona. 

“Yvie, your sister is chatting with her friend. Why don’t you go up late? Let’s go down and have a seat instead.” 

Yvette’s round face was full of curiosity. “My sister’s friend? Who is it?” “From Cecilia’s tone, it definitely isn’t an ordinary friend.” 

“It’s a man whom I’ve never seen before.” 

Yvette suddenly nodded and knew who it was. 

“It’s Marcus. He has always had a crush on my sister. Unfortunately, she doesn’t like him.” 

Marcus was also a friend of Christopher. He had been studying making desserts abroad and had rushed back immediately after learning that Fiona was in trouble.

After saying that, Yvette started to gossip about the Yancey family.

Cecilia figured that Evan wanted to tell her about the arrangement at Acocester. 

She replied, “Okay. Are we going to Emerald Mansion for dinner tonight or outside?”

Evan hadn’t spent time alone with Cecilia since he returned home, so he took this opportunity to have a chat with her.

“Yvie, haven’t you had lunch yet?”

“Not yet. Usually, my sister and I would eat together. Since she’s with Marcus now, it’s inconvenient for me to interrupt. So, I’ll just grab a bite nearby.” 

Cecilia invited, “I haven’t eaten too. Let’s go together.” 

“Okay, I know a place that does home–cooked food nearby. Shall we go there?”
