Christopher looked down at Cecilia’s mischievous face and asked, “How are you going to sleep?” 

“I want to hold you to sleep.” 

“Just holding? Nothing else?” 

Christopher’s cold and magnetic voice echoed in Cecilia’s ears and tugged at her heartstrings. 

Cecilia looked up at Christopher’s S**y Adam’s apple and had the urge to suck it. 

As Cecilia was carried into the bedroom, she lifted her head and kissed his Adam’s apple. 

Then, she sucked it. 

As Christopher stepped into the bedroom, he suddenly froze. 

Christopher groaned at the soft touch on his Adam’s apple that felt like it had sucked his soul away. 

Christopher’s body reacted uncontrollably. 

“Ceci, stop it.” 

Christopher’s hoarse voice trembled slightly as he suppressed his emotions. 

Cecilia sucked it hard before letting go of Christopher. 

The S**y Adam’s apple rolled gently, and the hickey bobbed like it was alive. 

Cecilia could not move her eyes away, and her heart was pounding. 

Cecilia would have made the man in front of her succumb to her if it were not for the fact that they had to leave for Acocester early the next morning.

She then loosened her arms around Christopher’s neck and slid down from his arms.

Then, she heard the sound of splashing water.

Christopher had only a towel around his waist when he came out of the bathroom. 

As Christopher’s good figure was exposed, Cecilia couldn’t take her eyes off the perfect muscle lines and even wanted to touch them. 

But as soon as Cecilia stepped forward, Christopher walked toward the closet. 

With broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs, Cecilia was enchanted by Christopher’s every move. 

Cecilia seriously suspected Christopher was deliberately seducing her, but she had no evidence. 

With the beautiful view gone, Cecilia went to the bathroom. 

Then she took a relaxing hot bath. Her skin turned pink from the heat, and the old scars on her body became visible. 

The scars did not bother Cecilia because she was used to them. 

After all, those scars were Cecilia’s past. There was nothing to hide, so she didn’t bother getting rid of them. 

When she came out of the bathroom, Cecilia imitated Christopher by wrapping herself in a towel. 

The towel barely covered Cecilia’s upper thigh. At one glance, all one could see was her long, slender legs. 

There were beads of water on Cecilia’s long, straight legs, and they slid as she walked, leaving wet traces on the floor. 

Cecilia walked over to the dresser and sat down. Then she waved her finger at Christopher.

Cecilia did not wash her hair that night, so only the area around her neck was wet. All she had to do was pat it dry with a towel. 

Christopher looked at the deliberate Cecilia and stood up helplessly with a doting look on his face. 

Christopher had already changed into a sleeping robe. The collar was slightly opened, revealing a small part of his chest. 

Christopher walked behind Cecilia after getting the hair dryer. 

Because of his height, Christopher could clearly see Cecilia’s curves. There was water dripping from the end of Cecilia’s hair, sliding down her S**y collar bone and disappearing into her cleavage. 

Christopher’s breathing immediately quickened. 

Christopher hurriedly looked away and focused on blow–drying Cecilia’s hair. 

As the hairdryer buzzed, Christopher said, “Ceci, let’s stop torturing each other.” 

Cecilia suddenly turned around, reached into Christopher’s robe, and caressed his tight abdominal muscles. 

Christopher immediately turned off the hairdryer and held Cecilia’s playful hands. 

Christopher’s expression darkened as he said, “Ceci, I won’t be able to control myself if you keep this up.” 

Cecilia withdrew her hand immediately, scorched by the heat in Christopher’s eyes. 

“I won’t touch it again today. I will touch it another time.” 

Christopher chuckled in amusement at Cecilia’s words and stroked her nose affectionately. 

“Stop messing around. Have some early rest tonight.” 

Cecilia nodded obediently. “Okay. I’ll go change into my pajamas.” When Cecilia came out of the closet in her pajamas, Christopher was already on his small bed. 

He was changing the bandage on his injured arm. 

The wound had scabbed over and the swelling had subsided. With the stitches already removed, it would heal completely with only two more

Cecilia wanted to help, but Christopher said, “The wound is almost healed. I can take care of it myself.” 

Christopher had suffered far worse injuries when he was a mercenary and in Peacekeeping Forces, and he tended to them all by himself. 

He only asked Cecilia to take care of it earlier to improve their 

relationship. 

When Cecilia saw how skillful Christopher was, she climbed into her big bed. 

Instead of resting immediately, Cecilia leaned against the headboard and thought about returning to Acocester the next day. 

However, as soon as Cecilia thought about it, she got a call from Yvette. 

Cecilia answered it immediately. “Yvie, why are you still up so late? Did something happen?” 

“Yes. It has something to do with you.” 

Yvette had accompanied Fiona to the hospital. She had been a little. thirsty, so she had decided to get some yogurt from the vending machine. 

Yvette overheard the nurses talking about how Cecilia had abused her 

parents. 

“Did you see that? Mr. Yancey and his wife are in such bad shape. The wounds on their knees are so deep you can see the bones.”” 

“It’s so miserable. They may not be able to walk for the rest of their lives. Cecilia is so cruel!”
