Cecilia briefly explained how Hayden was caught. 

While it sounded like there were some coincidences, it was actually the result of using psychological manipulation on Jeffrey. 

For Jeffrey, having someone else die in his place was better. If he had to die, he must drag someone else down, too. His thinking was prevalent in history. 

When Christopher heard this, he took Cecilia’s hand, intertwining their fingers together. 

He sighed. “Finally, it’s ending.” 

Cecilia’s rosy lips curved up into a smile, and her bright eyes glimmered. It was as if her eyes contained the brilliant stars in the galaxy. 

“Yeah, it’s almost over.” 

As long as they succeeded in infiltrating the core of the “Wolf Killer” organization, they wouldn’t take too long to destroy this heinous criminal organization. 

Christopher stared at Cecilia affectionately. He let go of her hand and gently brushed aside a strand of hair from her forehead. 

“Ceci, send me a copy of the data Aiden gave you. Let’s find their phone’s actual IP address together.” 

Cecilia gave Christopher a head–to–toe glance. “You’re still seriously injured. Can you really do it?” 

As soon as she finished speaking, she added jokingly, “I almost forgot that men can never say no even if they can’t do it.” 

Christopher tapped Cecilia’s nose. “I’m just injured, and my hands are intact. What do you say? Can I do this or not?” 

“Fine, you’re the best. I’ll go get my laptop.” 

Cecilia was away from home for three years. Her laptop model was rather old, but its performance was excellent, and its age didn’t affect its 

usage. 

She brought two laptops to the guest room and uploaded the data sent by Aiden.

“Are you still holding a grudge, Ceci?”

“Got it. If you win this time, I’ll make a promise to you.” 

Cecilia smiled. “You’d better keep your word. No matter what I say, you can’t refuse it.” 

“Of course. I always mean what I say.” 

“Let’s start.” 

The room was so quiet that the only sounds were from their fingers typing on the keyboards. 

Since Christopher took his foot off the gas pedal, Cecilia was the first to pinpoint the actual location–tracking IP address of the phone number. 

She looked at the tiny red dot flashing on her laptop screen and exclaimed happily, “I got it! I won!” 

When he heard her exclamation, Christopher stopped typing and looked at the smiling Cecilia.

Cecilia rose from her seat and walked to Christopher. When she saw the four fake IP addresses on his computer screen still pending examination, she became suspicious. 

“Christopher, aren’t you too obvious about going easy on me?” 

Christopher had indeed let her win on purpose, but he wouldn’t admit to

Christopher looked at Cecilia, who occupied half of his bed. He asked with a smile, “Ceci, is it okay for you to sleep with me?” 

There were quite a few housekeepers in the Shaw residence. He was worried about ruining Cecilia’s reputation if someone saw them in the same bed. 

Cecilia hugged his lean waist and nuzzled her face against his chest. “People in the Shaw residence don’t gossip, and Grandma Elaine is not old–fashioned, so you can sleep well. Moreover, we’re simply lying in bed and not doing anything. How will this be a problem?” 

With that, she raised her hand to cover Christopher’s eyes.
