Chapter 91: Turning the Tables
Chapter 91: Turning the Tables
Olivia’s eyes flickered.
It seemed she was momentarily awed by Charlotte’s current formidable aura.
But she quickly realized-
This village girl was putting on an act!
She was the proud daughter of the Bellerose Family, so why should she fear this village girl!
don’t understand what you mean,” Olivia said, a hint of arrogance showing at the corner of her mouth.
She decided to play dumb through and through.
After all, stealing someone else’s package was quite embarrassing to admit.
So, Olivia was prepared to deny it to the end.
Charlotte seemed to have anticipated Olivia’s reaction long ago.
She stared at Olivia, her eyes filled with a chilling light, “Don’t remember what you did?”
Olivia continued to act clueless, chuckling, “Remember what?”
Charlotte also laughed, “Alright, let me help you remember.”
As she spoke, she pulled out the already damaged package from behind and pointed it in Olivia’s direction-
The dead cockroaches inside the box instantly spilled out!
They rained down vertically onto Olivia.
“Oh my god!” Olivia screamed directly, and one dead cockroach even hung on her forehead.
“It’s so itchy… and disgusting..” she was on the verge of tears, shaking her body as she slapped the dead cockroaches off her.
Although she had placed these things inside the package she sent to Charlotte, the close contact at this moment made her feel extremely disgusted.
Charlotte stood by, lightly smiling, “Remember what you did now?“
“Bring the stuff.”
Her eyes suddenly sharpened, her expression turning as cold as ice,
After Olivia finally managed to get the dead cockroaches off her, upon hearing Charlotte’s words, her eyes couldn’t help but darken.
Olivia wouldn’t return the ticket to the meeting with Cedric no matter what.
If she were to return it-
Not only would she not see Cedric, but she would also confirm the fact that she had stolen something.
So, no matter what, she couldn’t admit it or return it!
Countless thoughts raced through Olivia’s mind, and finally, a determination flashed in her eyes.
“Charlotte,” she steadied her emotions, looking calmly at the girl in front of her, “Why do you think you can ask me for it? Are you shameless enough to ask me to give it to you? Clearly, this is mine!”
“You stole my things, is it wrong for me to take them back?”
Olivia stared with big eyes, appearing resolute and justified.
