Chapter 3600
The expressions of everyone, including the Nine Heaven Emperor, darkened when they heard that. The next second, Grunt shouted, " Are you out of your mind? His Majesty has always valued you and even gave you the entire Ghost Mountain with no strings attached, but you dared to go against him for a measly attendant?"
Then, he turned to the Nine Heaven Emperor and said, "Your Majesty, we should just kill him since the Ghost Valley Sage does not seem to reciprocate your sentiments."
The Nine Heaven Emperor did not respond, but his face became even darker. It was apparent his silence meant his consent had been granted. Grunt did not hesitate. He waved his hand and shouted, "Take down the Ghost Valley Sage!"
The ten thousand soldiers and generals immediately charged toward the Ghost Valley Sage. He did not panic, but a bitter smile did break out of his face. He thought he would get to live out his life peacefully after moving to the Godly Region and did not expect his peaceful life to be interrupted so soon.
Meanwhile, at the place where the demons were held captive, Darryl was still plunging into the abyss. He could hear the sound of wind whistling by as he looked down at the pitch-black darkness below him. He started to panic when he could not see the bottom at all.
'Just how deep is this abyss? And is it dangerous down there? That last attack from the white Tiger King was too powerful. The Red Sparrow Queen is probably dead right now.'
Finally, his feet touched solid ground. The impact hurt his chest, and he had to take a few steps back before he could stabilize himself. After that, he took a deep breath and started to survey his surroundings. He felt suffocated.
'Shit. What kind of place is this? The light is so weak. I can't see anything at all!1 Suddenly, he heard some movement from above him, and then a slender figure fell somewhere nearby. The figure cried out in pain when she hit the ground.
Darryl quickly went to check on the Red Sparrow Queen, and he had not even taken two steps when he saw the murderous look in her eyes. He immediately became more vigilant and instinctively stepped back and calmed himself. He could tell she was very weak. Her face was pale, and she could not even stand up. She was no threat to him at all.
