The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 3799

Chapter 3799

"Mister Darryl, that man seems to have an ulterior motive. You should be wary of him," Jewel said as she walked toward him and held onto his arm; she did not forget to glare at Skylar as she said that.

Darryl smiled and patted her on the head, she was as cute as ever. Then, his gaze fell on Skylar. "Hello Skylar, I trust that you are well since we've last met."

He was smiling. He did not seem to mind that Skylar was trying to pursue his woman. In fact, he was a little bit too calm. After all that they had gone through together, Darryl did not doubt Debra's loyalty toward him. Their relationship was stronger than steel.

'D*mn it! Why did he have to come now?' Skylar's brows furrowed; his previous good mood was gone. He was pissed at Darryl for ruining his opportunity to get closer to Debra.

He forced a smile and pretended to be carefree. "Hello, Darryl! Yes, I'm very well, and I hope you are too. It was pure coincidence that I bumped into Miss Debra here."

He turned his gaze toward Debra and sincerely said, "I feel a certain kinship toward Miss Debra and hope to become friends with her. So, I thought that buying the jade fan would be a nice gesture in sealing our friendship."

He took out a card and passed it to the owner. "Please pack the jade fan!"

The owner was delighted and quickly charged the purchase into the card. It was his first day of business, and he had already made a sale of two million!

"Miss Debra, I'm sincere in saying I want to be friends with you. I hope you won't refuse my gift," Skylar said placatingly. He sneaked a contemptuous glance at Darryl while saying that.

'What is Miss Debra doing with a has-been like him? I must win her over, no matter what!' He dared to look down on Darryl because he was confident that he was stronger.

Darryl laughed internally and thought, 'He sure is confident. I must teach him a lesson for daring to pursue Debra in front of me. Otherwise, my name is not Darryl Darby!'

A flash of annoyance appeared on Debra's exquisite face. She pulled on Darryl's sleeves and said, "Darryl, I—"

Darryl smiled and slung his arms around her shoulder. "Debra, it's rude not to accept a gift when the other person is so sincere."
