Upon finding out that Skylar was hiding in the Five Poison Sect, Cayden had volunteered to go there, with Grunt's agreement, he had led hundreds of thousands of skilled practitioners to the Five Poison Sect. The main goal was, of course, to ambush Skylar.

A smaller army of people was not far behind the Heavenly Alliance horde—the Carter family.
