A thought seemed to come to Chester. He turned to order the people around him, "Send people to all the major Sects asking for help immediately. Inform them in detail of what happened. Oh, and send for the Senior Divine Farmer's presence. Hurry, now."

The Senior Divine Farmer had not come along with Chester and Ambrose's army to the Five Poison Sect. Instead they had let him stay behind, with Zhu Bajie and Chang Er at the Carters.

Having received the command, the disciples of the Carter household hurried off to act on them.

The truth was, the task of clearing out the ancient poisonous centipede had actually been Kendall's responsibility. The only problem was that the ancient poisonous centipede was far too powerful, and Kendall would have not been capable of luring it to the canyon. This was why Skylar had to take on her task.

Kendall seemed very satisfied with the response she had gotten. A thought came to her. "Sect Master, I heard Darryl Darby has gone to the Godly Region in search of glazed water. It's apparently to cure Dax Sanders and Neil Wilson of the Soul-devouring Bloodworms they had gotten infested with." 6

As she spoke, Kendall attempted at testing the waters. "We should take down the Carters while Darryl Darby isn't here."

Taking the life of Darryl, as well as that of the Carters, had been Kendall's ultimate wish. She had not forgotten it, not for a single second.

Skylar took a deep breath. Frowning, he said, "No. The Carters will still be of use, we must spare them for now."

Following that, Skylar gave out an order. "The Archfiend Antigonus will leave the Sealed Devil Mirror in three days. The most important thing you can do right now, is to assure the Archfiend's safety. Got it?"

Kendall grunted in acknowledgment from where she was standing. Her expression was one of respect and agreement, yet disapproval stung her heart.

Skylar had promised me to get rid of Darryl Darby. Yet a long time has passed, and he has only fobbed me off with excuse after excuse.

This would not do!

Guess I'll have to take matters into my own hands now, instead of relying on Skylar.

Kendall's eyes blazed in a sinister manner.
