The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 4199

Chapter 4199

Princess Dorothy bowed her head in embarrassment.

She felt torn between laughter and tears as well.

Princess Dorothy had never expected that Jade Immortal was that competitive. He even chased down Lute for a rematch.

"Nothing else to say?"

Jade Immortal giggled as if he had caught her red-handed, shouting with glee in Lute's face. "That last round doesn't count. I demand a rematch."

He threw the Emerald Sky Pearl at her.

"Hold on."

Lute stopped Jade Immortal, a solemn expression on her delicate features. "I'll take you up on that rematch, but you have to take the Emerald Sky Pearl."

"Why?" Jade Immortal seemed confused.

Lute pointed to Princess Dorothy. "Because she needs it.”

"Alright!"

Jade Immortal spoke after a brief silence and turned to Princess Dorothy.' You are lucky to have Lute Belle care about you that way. I suppose you should take it since she insists on giving it to you."

As he spoke, he handed the Emerald Sky Pearl to Princess Dorothy.

"Thank you, Senior." Princess Dorothy received the pearl in her hands. She was ecstatic.

She turned to Lute and bowed. "Thank you, Lute Belle."

Lute smiled faintly, acknowledging her gratitude.

"Alright, alright."

Jade Immortal cut in abruptly. "What are we betting on today? A match with no incentive is no good. Let me see if I've got anything of value on me.

As he spoke, Jade Immortal began rifling through his belongings. A while later, he emerged with a Rainbow Amulet in his hand.

The Rainbow Amulet was clear as water, shining with a breathtaking glow.

"This is made of Rainbow Jade. You should know it's pretty rare and a difficult treasure to come by," Jade Immortal beamed as he spoke.

"Alright!"

Lute nodded. Then, she retrieved a jade bottle.

Jade Immortal and Princess Dorothy's gazes fell onto the bottle at once. The bottle was made of fine jade and considered quite precious. The most eye-catching feature about it was the strange flame that danced inside it.

Indeed, the flame was Darryl Darby's spirit.

When Archfiend Antigonus had taken down Darryl at the Sealed fiend Mountain, he had intended to revive himself with the flame from the Power of the Bird Ancestor. Yet that had been found out by Archfiend Antigonus, and he had destroyed the flame as well. All hope was not lost as a wisp of Darryl's spirit managed to escape the tragedy.

A while later, Lute happened to pass by. The curious, exquisite flame had caught her eye, and she had put it into a jade bottle.

What a strange flame!

Jade Immortal and Princess Dorothy were greatly curious as well.

"Jade Immortal."
