Skylar realized that he had been confined inside a cell. He also noticed that that cell seemed to be inside a cave. A person with a slender figure sat outside the wooden planks, meditating.

The slender body that curved elegantly belonged to Kendall Jones.

Kendall was a beautiful woman. She and her sister, Lindsay, were crowned the most beautiful sisters in the Five Poison Sect. After Kendall swallowed the ancient poisonous centipede's inner core, she seemed to have become even more charming.

Skylar's eyes were ablaze with fiery rage. However, he was still too weak even to sound intimidating.

Kendall chuckled when she sensed Skylar's fury. She looked at him and said, "My dear sect master, you've truly been nothing but good to me, and I've always been loyal to you as well.

"You know I've wanted to kill Darryl Darby and the Carter family, and you had promised to let me do so. But you delayed it over and over again.

Which is why I have no other choice."

Skylar's eyes darkened as he responded calmly, "Since things have progressed up to this point, I don't have anything else to say to you. I just want to know your true intentions for capturing me."

Kendall smiled as her eyes sparkled. "My dear sect master, you're a hero. Do you not know my intentions for capturing you?”

Kendall continued as her tone got progressively colder. "It's because I've absorbed your Power of the Fiend Soul, and as a mortal human being, my body could not take such a powerful energy. However, I know that you have a solution for that. Am I right?"

Kendall looked at Skylar, anticipating his answer as the air inside the cave shifted.

Skylar was stunned and sneered coldly in response.

'Kendall Jones-what a greedy woman.'

Skylar smiled in disdain and into Kendall's eyes. "Kendall Jones, how shameless of you to ask for my help after stealing my power. What sort of ridiculous daydream are you stuck in?"

Kendall's face froze upon hearing Skylar's words. She raised her hand and landed a loud slap across his face.

Skylar collapsed onto the ground with a loud thud. Kendall did not strike hard, but Skylar's Power of the fiend Soul had been stolen, so it had rendered his body weak and powerless.
