"You…"
Quickly enough, Daisy returned to her senses. She mustered up the courage to call out to Hendrick. "How could you do that?" Those people went over the line. Neither she nor Keele had meant to do that. How dare they use force on Keele?
Hendrick's expression was positively murderous. "Considering what you did to my sister, you should be counting your lucky stars that I had not killed him."
The ruffian next to him piped up sternly as the words rang through the air. "If anything happens to our High Lady, we'll use more than force. You're going to pay with your lives, and this wretched Lunar Moon Hut's going down as well."
"You are being unfair!" Daisy was unable to control her anger and argued with all her might. "Our methods were entirely correct. Why did this happen? Is it because the young lady waited too long to be cured?"
Oh?
Hendrick laughed in disbelief at the words while staring at Daisy. "Are you suggesting that we are making a fuss over nothing?" As he spoke, Hendrick's expression was nothing but impatience as he stated coldly, "I am asking you one last time. Can you save my sister?"
Daisy fell silent and exchanged a look with Keele as her expression grew increasingly distressed. "It is difficult to say—" She had used only the herbs that her master had instructed her to use. Why did it not work?
Unable to understand the situation, Daisy did not dare to say anything.
Hendrick's expression darkened as he waved a hand. "Trash this place."
"Yes, Young Master!" At the order, the ruffians called out before they began trashing the place like feral beasts, charging into the great hall and wrecking anything and everything in sight.
The entire hall had turned into a wreck in the blink of an eye.
Keele was shocked and enraged. However, how could he retaliate against a man as strong and ferocious as Hendrick?
"Stop it! Stop it now! Stop!"
Daisy panicked as well. She was about to rush forward to stop them, but a ruffian blocked her with an arm. "Do you have a death wish? F*ck off."
Daisy was beside herself with panic. Her mind raced through the methods her master had taught her, but she could not come up with a single way to help with Wisteria's condition.
Motherf*cker…
At the sight of the two pupils' reaction, Hendrick clenched his fists as his expression grew murderous. Was there no saving his sister? She was still so young…
Hendrick's heart twisted with pain the more he thought about it as his rage crackled. F*ck, it was all because those two idiots did not take the healing seriously. That was why his sister was in that state.
Hendrick waved a hand as he said the words coldly. "Take down those two b*stards, and set this place on fire."
As the words rang through the air, the ruffians drew their long swords, fixing a ferocious gaze onto Keele and Daisy as they charged forward.
Keele was scared out of his wits, falling to his knees as he begged. "Please don't, Sir. Why don't I try again?"
