Daisy walked quickly toward Darryl after she was released. "What do you need me to do?"
Darryl smiled lightly. He studied Wisteria's condition briefly before saying, "Get these herbs for me. I need three ounces of bamboo wisps and five ounces of almond scales."
Nevertheless, Daisy remained immobile on the ground, a stunned expression on her face.
Uhh…
Darryl tapped his forehead, suddenly remembering that he was in the Cryolet Continent. The terms there were different from the Nine Mainland.
Darryl said again, "I mean, just get me what you used now."
Daisy stopped short. She asked, "Are you sure?" She had Wisteria taken
the medicine she had prepared, but it had no effect. Why did he request that she make it again?
Was Keele right? Did that man not know anything about medicine at all?
"Young Master Steinfield!"
Then, Keele called out from where he was. "He doesn't know a thing! He's asking for the same ingredients as what we just used. He's trying to copy us! Don't believe him!"
Keele's gaze was nothing but crazed.
F*ck, Darryl was truly shameless, asking his junior sister for another set of what she had just prepared. That was plagiarism at its best, doing the same thing they had done! Of course, anyone would be able to do that.
Hendrick's expression was similarly pale. He turned to Darryl and asked him coldly, "Do you know what you are doing?"
Darryl's expression did not change as he said, "My life's in your hands, Young Master Steinfield. What are you afraid of? If I fail, you can kill me as you wish."
"Don't listen to him. He's a sham and a cheat," Keele called out again.
The ruffian did not wait for Hendrick to speak before landing a harsh slap on Keele's face. "Will you quit your b*tching? Do you think I won't cut your tongue off?"
Keele immediately shut up.
At the determined look on his face, Daisy did not argue any further and got the Earthen Drought.
When he got all the ingredients, Darryl checked Wisteria's pulse as he called out orders for Daisy to boil the medicine. "The ice grass is crucial to curing a cold, and your method was right, but only for patients who have just fallen ill. Miss Steinfield had been sick for a few days, and the chill had seeped into her bones. The ice grass will no longer work. All you can do is use the heat from the Earthen Drought to force the chill out."
At the words, Daisy's gaze flashed with vague comprehension.
Keele smirked coldly. Darryl spoke nothing but nonsense. How could anything be wrong with the recipe that his master had devised?
Quickly enough, Daisy boiled the medicine and carefully fed it to Wisteria.
At the same time, Darryl instructed Daisy to massage Wisteria's temple.
"What are you doing?" Hendrick asked.
"Massaging her temple!" Darryl responded lightly. "It'll loosen her veins and help the blood in her system flow smoother so that she can absorb the medicine better."
