Keele was displeased and defended himself. "I'm not picking on him. He's the one who likes to cause trouble."
"Alright…" Daisy felt defeated. She smiled and said, "It's his problem, not yours. Drink some tea, Senior Brother."
Daisy poured a cup for Darryl and said to him awkwardly and quietly, "Darryl, please don't mind him. It's just the way he is."
Darryl smiled and nodded. He was not bothered by Keele's words at all.
All Darryl cared about at that moment was the tea. Since both Daisy and Keele had drunk the tea, the refreshing herb would not work on them anymore. He felt relieved.
They just had to wait for Hendrick to pay them another visit.
Thud!
Darryl was still deep in his thoughts when someone kicked the door in the front yard open. Then Yogi and about ten men entered the compound.
Sh*t!
The expressions on Keele and Daisy's faces shifted instantly, with Keele looking particularly enraged and terrified as he glared vehemently at Darryl. The man was to blame for pissing Hendrick off, he thought.
"B*stard!" Yogi glared fiercely at Darryl, "You sure had guts, making our young master apologize! Come outside and face us!" Hendrick had ordered Yogi to return there after sending Wisteria home to rest.
Hendrick was clear in his orders. He wanted them to break each of Darryl's limbs.
Darryl was calm. He slowly put down his cup of tea and said to Yogi, "Why do I have to go outside? If you're here to apologize, all you have to do is come inside and kneel before me."
Crazy!
Keele looked at Darryl as if he was a fool. He dragged Daisy to the backyard with him. "Daisy, quickly, we have to hide."
"What are you doing?" Daisy struggled to free herself and failed.
"Can't you see? Hendrick had his men come to look for him. Even if we wanted to help, we could not. We should hide."
Daisy could not fight free and was forced to hide in the backyard with Keele.
