The next second, Darryl glanced at the head elder as he said slowly, "I mean no disrespect to the North Sea Galaxy. I just don't think your attitude is quite right for someone asking me for help."

As he spoke, Darryl took a look at the Jade Ice Pill before continuing to speak. "You're asking me for help, but your tone's all high and mighty, as if I'm obligated to help you. Ha, must I remind you that I'm not a pupil of the North Sea Galaxy? I'm not one of your men. Why should I do this for you?"

As he finished speaking, Darryl sat on a chair by the side haughtily.

To tell the truth, Darryl did not wish to bargain. Yet these people were far too arrogant, taking advantage of the fact that they had an alliance with the Pure Yang Division to imply that Darryl was obligated to make them the pills.

What was wrong with them?

At the words, everyone's expressions shifted.

At the thought, Zacho's expression darkened.

As the words rang through the air, the other elders chimed in with their disapproval as well.

"Exactly, know your place."

"You're pretty cocky for someone who looks so young."

"If it weren't for the fact that we were in an alliance, I'd have already taught you a lesson."

The crowd grew in anger as they spoke. How would the North Sea Galaxy's reputation hold up if the news of them facing such disrespect were to go out?

Zacho's expression was ashen as well.

Seeing as the tension was thickening by the second, Gigi grew anxious as well. She hurried up to Darryl, saying in a low voice, "Sect Master, I think it's best we don't make a fuss out of this. We have an alliance with them, and it's not going to be good for us to have a falling out."

Darryl had no powers whatsoever but was trying to go against Zacho.

Wasn't he just looking for trouble?

The other elders followed closely behind.

All at once, the tension in the air lessened.

At the situation, Gigi heaved a sigh of relief as she looked toward Darryl to ask him for advice. "Sect Master, what should we do now?"

Darryl smiled lightly. "We'll have a look as well, I suppose."

As he spoke, Darryl followed the crowd heading in the direction of the chambers. Sofia and Gigi exchanged a glance before following suit.

Just as they were about to reach the chambers, a series of loud thumps that sounded like someone hurling objects around could be heard. This was coupled with the anguished cries of a few servants. It sounded like a mess.

All that could be seen was a slim lady with her hair a mess around her shoulders, throwing everything she could find.

The woman was no other than Zacho's wife, Valerie Close.

Darryl did not enter, watching from outside the door as he frowned. Valerie did not seem to be in a psychotic break, from the looks of it. It seemed like something else was going on…
