Darryl's hand was clearly brushing up against her thigh with each step he took. That sensation was excruciating.

Darryl hoisted her up even higher as he spoke.

Darryl shook his head, exasperated and amused because she was still concerned about her reputation at that time. "Spirit, my life is in your hands. How could I possibly say anything?"

"Also, we don't know for sure if there's a second exit in that cave—not with how complicated it is. We might both end up dead here for all we know."

Goliry raised her brows in response to the words and could not help but remark, "Stop talking. Do not ruin it." She was still young and had not done much yet. How could she die in such a way?

"Alright, I'll stop talking."

Darryl continued to bicker with Goliry as he weaved through the fire ahead.

Andres and Angera were still fighting it out in the abandoned temple.

Both men weaved through the air, colliding with each other. Andres' face was as pale as a sheet when he was knocked down by Angera, landing on the ground and stumbling a few steps backward before regaining his balance.

Angera's expression was murderous as he mocked him. "How dare you put on airs as a lowly disciple of the Belladonna Palace. Have you learned your lesson now?"

As the words rang through the air, Angera ducked in one swift move before rushing back in Andres' direction.
