Alright!
Darryl loosened his arms and smirked to himself at her urgent expression.
Goliry scrambled to get off Darryl's back. However, in her haste, her right leg caught against a nearby vine, causing her to lose her balance and slip.
Goliry's right hand remained on Darryl's shoulder, dragging him down with her as she fell.
Thump!
Coincidentally enough, Darryl fell headfirst against Goliry's body, leaving their faces barely an inch apart from each other.
Whew!
Darryl's mind went blank as the sensation of Goliry's soft body against his washed over him.
At the same time, he could not help but look up and down at Goliry in admiration.
What a beauty!
It could not be denied that Goliry was not only stunning, but her body was also flawless.
Goliry was also taken aback, staring at Darryl in a daze, unable to speak.
They were both tightly pressed together at the same time. The air became more tense by the second.
"You—"
Finally, Goliry snapped back into her senses a few seconds later as she shouted in indignance and embarrassment. "I'll dig your eyes out if you keep looking at me! Get off me."
Goliry's face was flushed crimson with rage and embarrassment as she spoke the words.
Goliry, the Saint of the Red Shirt Crusade, wanted to curl up into a ball at the thought of being taken advantage of by Darryl on multiple occasions.
Darryl huffed in exasperation and amusement at her outburst. "You appear to have forgotten that it was you, my dear spirit, who lost your balance and dragged me down with you. How is it my fault now?"
That woman was far too much, still not holding back even after what had happened in the cave.
She would not have to worry about the North Star Galaxy people finding her in such a remote location. Goliry made plans to return to the Red Shirt Crusade with Darryl in tow.
Frankilda of the Quad Ocean Sect had amassed a sizable fortune from the Red Shirt Crusade. They were still missing, but bringing Darryl back with her would give her leverage.
Darryl scratched his head, grinning at Goliry. "Get some rest. I'll find us some food." Darryl had not eaten or drunk anything since being captured, and he was exhausted from carrying Goliry in the cave.
Even though his powers had been nearly fully restored, he still needed to eat something.
Goliry frowned and shouted without hesitation, "Then starve!" Who did that bastard think he was, trying to look for food after just taking advantage of her?
Uhh…
Darryl's expression was completely awkward. Nonetheless, he smiled and said, "Even if you want to bring me back to the Red Shirt Crusade, you'd want me to live, wouldn't you? Consider this. Isn't it unpleasant to lug a dead body back to your master if I starve to death before we return?"
Darryl maintained a solemn expression as he spoke.
Goliry remained silent for a moment before nodding. "Hurry up, then. If I catch you trying to escape, I will kill you." She sat down cross-legged as she spoke and began restoring her energy.
