To be honest, Goliry was not concerned about Darryl escaping. To her, the man was only useful for his resistance to fire. He lacked powers and could never get away from her.
More importantly, it would be difficult for him to escape from a place like that.
"Alright!"
Darryl immediately recognized what was on Goliry's mind and smiled lightly. "Come on, now that we have shared a life-or-death experience, we are in the same boat. How could I possibly leave?"
Darryl turned and walked into the woods as he spoke.
Goliry could not help but laugh at the words. Darryl was such a sleaze bag. Nonetheless, she remained silent and closed her eyes to regain her energy.
Swish!
A figure could be seen soaring forward at top speed just as Darryl left. Despite his slightly pale complexion, he was dressed in a long white shirt and exuded a charming aura.
It was Andres.
Andres had just escaped using the Blood Shadow Palm half an hour before. However, Angera was hot on his tail, and all Andres could do was weave around the complicated location until he finally lost Angera.
Goliry opened her eyes at the sound and frowned at what she saw.
Andres noticed Goliry as well, and a smile appeared on his face. "Hey, Spirit, you are here as well." Andres' chest blazed with rage, despite his polite tone.
'F*ck, that b*tch just abandoned me to die. I'm going to give her hell.'
Goliry's icy expression remained unaffected by Andres' friendliness. She nodded. "Is anyone after you?" She had used her ultimate skill in the temple, which had caused her to expend a lot of energy. She had also nearly burned to death in the cave and was extremely weak.
Under those circumstances, Goliry needed to meditate to restore her energy. It was only common sense that she checked if anyone was after Andres.
