That attack appeared powerless, but Andres could see that the surrounding air twisted.
'Hm? What's going on?'
Andres frowned in shock.
Darryl was supposed to be powerless; how could he suddenly summon such powerful energy?
Whoosh.
When Andres was still deep in thought, a golden palm figure appeared before Darryl—his divine power had been gathered on his palm, causing it to glow and sparkle.
Andres gulped nervously upon seeing Darryl.
What a powerful energy…
Darryl had power; he had just been concealing it.
What kind of power did he practice? Why was he able to summon a golden palm?
Andres was terrified as sweat dripped from his brow and the sword in his hand slipped from his grip.
Andres had no idea Darryl did not belong there or that his power was unreal.
"I—"
Andres came to a halt instantly and nervously tossed his sword away as he said to Darryl, "I apologize for offending you, Sect Master. Please forgive me..."
Andres knew he was not on the same level as Darryl when he showed Darryl's golden palm. He would undoubtedly die if they fought. It was a wiser decision to back down.
Andres did not want to die just yet before exploring the rest of the world.
However, it was too late.
Darryl was unmoved when he heard Andres beg forgiveness; instead, he said coldly, "I gave you a chance previously, but you did not take it. It is now too late.
"Die!"
Darryl waved his hand in the air and charged at Andres with his golden palm.
Andres was stunned as he picked up his sword from the ground and summoned all of his internal energy to repel the attack. However, it was not that easy.
'Why did he come back? Where's Andres?'
Goliry had no idea about Darryl's strength and did not believe he could outrun Andres. She was surprised to see that he had returned alone.
"Where's Andres?" Goliry asked as she checked her surroundings when Darryl approached her.
She had to be cautious as Andres was a cunning man who had drugged her.
Darryl wanted to laugh upon seeing Goliry's reaction. He said nonchalantly, "I managed to throw him off. Not sure where he is now."
Darryl chose to keep the fact that he had killed Andres a secret to protect his identity.
Threw him off?
For a brief moment, Goliry was stunned and asked in disbelief, "You threw him off?"
Darryl scratched his head and said calmly, "Is it that hard to believe? I've been surviving by myself in the wild. I'm familiar with places like this; Andres won't be able to get to me that easily."
Darryl changed the subject and asked, "So what's going on with you? Why are you so flushed?"
