"Heather!"
Ambrose yelled, rushing out to chase after her.
Heather had decided to leave, and there was no going after her.
All at once, Ambrose leaned on a stone pillar outside the door as he felt all the energy had been sucked out of him all at once.
'Why won't you believe me, Heather?'
…
Darryl, along with Lindsey and Preston, finally arrived at the Pure Yang Division main altar in the Cryolet Continent after a few hours on the road.
Lindsey looked around in awe at the beautiful view of the Pure Yang Division, filled with amazement.
"I can't believe a place so gorgeous exists."
She was unconscious in the underground town for a thousand years. Understandably, she was overwhelmed by witnessing such beauty upon waking up.
"Do you like it?" Darryl asked with a smile.
Lindsey nodded vigorously. "I'm obsessed."
The look on her face tickled Darryl thoroughly, and he stretched out a hand to stroke her head.
"Good. This is where you'll live from now on."
Just then, Preston had a look of amazement on his face as well.
"The Pure Yang Division really is paradise on earth. I haven't been here in twenty years."
As he spoke, Preston marveled to himself.
Darryl chuckled. "Do you have history with the Pure Yang Division?"
Preston nodded, unable to hide his arrogance. "I had a sword duel with the reigning head of the Pure Yang Division twenty years ago."
"Who won?" Lindsey scrambled to ask, curiosity all over her face.
Lindsey and Preston had gotten to know each other on the journey, and thus, Lindsey felt comfortable enough to speak her mind as she pleased in front of him.
Before Preston could respond, Darryl could not help but start chuckling. "Look at the proud look on his face! It's obvious you won, yes?"
