The Ultimate Husband (Darryl and Lily Lyndon) novel Chapter 5284

Heather spoke up at last with her gaze filled with grief. "You… When did you meet the Sea Dragon Empress?"

The situation at hand was evident. The baby belonged to Ambrose and the Sea Dragon Empress. After all, the truth had prevailed, and it was undeniable.

Truthfully, Heather trusted Ambrose. It was precisely because she had trusted him so much that the results of the blood match and the genetic testing had broken her the most.

Well…

At the question, Ambrose was nothing but helpless as it finally dawned on him why Heather was angry.

"Heather, don't believe all that nonsense. It's all fake." You're the only woman for me. There's never been anyone else, let alone having a baby with another woman."

As he explained himself, Ambrose was positively sweating.

Fake?

Heather smiled bitterly, trying to hold back her tears but failing as they trickled down her cheeks.

"Everyone here can see it for themselves. The blood match and Miss Veron's hospital results are enough to prove that you're related to the baby. I may be innocent, but I'm far from foolish."

As she finished speaking, Heather could no longer hold back as tears rolled down her face endlessly.

Everyone else, including Chester, Dax, and the rest, stopped short at the situation.

What was going on? Things were fine earlier, so why was there trouble again?

Veron frowned to herself as well.

Could the baby's parents not even be Ambrose and Heather? Was it his and another woman's baby?

Just as everyone was confused, Heather looked around and announced in a serious tone, "Everyone. I do love Brother Ambrose dearly, make no mistake, but in all the time we've spent together, I've always kept to myself, and we've never done anything before marriage.

"So, I'm going to announce once and for all. I have nothing to do with this child. As for the baby's relationship with Ambrose, I don't know anything, nor do I want to find out.

"I once thought that Ambrose would be able to give me a wonderful, beautiful future, but it appears I was wrong. I never would've guessed that he would have a child with another woman. The funniest thing is that I had cared dearly for the baby in the past few days."

As she spoke, Heather's face was covered in tears as her eyes welled with disappointment and heartbreak, making one's chest ache to even look at her.

Whoa…
