'You have to make it, Senior Brother.'
Amidst her worry, Rachelle prayed endless in her heart.
The thousands of True Flame Sect had the tent surrounded firmly, making it near impossible for anyone to get close to it.
Everyone could feel that there was a terrifying aura moving around in the air above them, making the clear sky darken swiftly.
What was happening?
All at once, all the True Flame Sect pupils got a shock as they all stared in disbelief at the heavens.
All that could be seen was a ray of light piercing through the inky clouds.
The light was blinding, as if it was about to tear the sky in half.
"What's going on?"
Upon hearing the noise, Rachelle strode out of the tent quickly. At the sight, her exquisite features contorted into an expression of shock instantly.
"The heavens are shifting… Could something be descending upon us?"
She had heard of phenomena like this from ancient books, yet quite like it had happened in thousands of years.
Something descending?
At her words, everyone's chests thudded.
The next second, one of the officials could not help but ask, "Is that really a thing, Holy Nun?"
As he spoke, he was unable to hide the excitement in his eyes. It was because the ray of light was not far from where they were.
If there really was something precious descending from the sky, the True Flame Sect could reach it firsthand.
Whew…
Rachelle exhaled lightly, an unreadable expression passing across her face. "I can't be too sure, but I've read about this previously."
As the words rang through the air, all that could be seen was the bright ray of light landing on the valley a few hundred meters away. A deafening sound could be heard as everyone felt a harsh rumble from under their feet.
Something had, indeed, descended from the heavens with a terrifying force.
