Just as Tuji reeled in shock, Antigonus reached out to block his acupoint.
Tuji's body jerked harshly, unable to move.
Antigonus did not bother hiding his Fiend soul energy anymore. His terrifying aura filled the room, strong enough to suffocate.
Tuji was shocked upon sensing the terrifying energy surrounding Antigonus, and he immediately understood.
"You… You're not Darryl Darby."
Antigonus let out a light chuckle.
"Indeed, I'm not. I must say, you're pretty skilled for the head of the Lange household. I was careful enough to hide my Fiend powers, but you still saw through me. I really don't know what I would've done if you had Master Magaera's skills.
"Fortunately for the Archfiend, though, you're nothing but a lowly mortal. I wasn't planning to do anything to you, so you can't fault me for what I did."
The Archfiend?
Tuji's mind was muddled, and he immediately thought of how the Fiend race had wreaked havoc upon the world just a year ago as realization dawned upon him.
"You… You're Fiend folk—"
Tuji's heart quivered with every word he spoke, his voice trembling under the pressure of Antigonus' Fiend energy.
However, he had barely finished his sentence when Antigonus cut him off coldly. "Yes, yes. It is I, the Archfiend Antigonus."
As the final word rang through the air, Antigonus raised his hand to form a barrier around the room with his Fiend energy to cut off the rest of the outside world.
Tuji panicked at the sight. "What are you doing?"
Antigonus did not respond, beginning to mutter a chant. He raised his right hand to lower it onto Tuji's head, channeling his Fiend soul energy into it.
Antigonus casted the Fiend race's Spirit Control Spell. Once under it, one's mind and will would be completely controlled.
"Argh…"
The powerful energy did not stop surging into Tuji's body as he felt as if he was about to explode. The pain was unbearable, and he could not help but begin to wail.
"Help… Help!"
Antigonus grunted in response, before telling Tuji his plan in detail. He then waved a hand. "That's all. You may go now. Tell the Langes that no one is allowed near my room without my permission."
"Yes, Master."
Tuji called out in response, before retreating out of the room.
……
Over on another end.
Two charming figures could be seen making their way quickly through the woods northwest of Donghai City.
Both of them were wearing long dresses that highlighted their perfect curves, but their expressions were fatigued.
It was Debra and Rachelle.
The pair had headed to Donghai City first thing upon leaving the cave, but the journey had not been a smooth one— they kept running into Godly Region soldiers.
Just then, Debra took a look at her surroundings before saying to Rachelle with a smile, "Keep going, we're almost there."
