The second the golden throne appeared, a rainbow cloud appeared in the sky. The strange, rare sight made everyone look up.
At the same time, Master Magaera also stopped short warily.
'Rainbow clouds… A golden throne… Could it be that His Royal Highness is descending upon the Nine Continents?'
Just as Master Magaera pondered to himself, the clouds dissipated slowly as the golden throne grew more visible. A handsome figure could be seen perched on top of it.
He was clad in golden robes, bearing a solemn gaze and radiating a strong aura of royalty.
It was the Heaven Emperor, Aurin.
Behind the golden throne were nine elite guards from the Imperial Sky Palace. They stood there silently, radiating a silent authority.
Realizing that it really was Aurin, Master Magaera and the thousands of soldiers felt their chests thud in shock as they stood stunned.
The Elysium Gate pupils, along with Chester and the rest, could also sense Aurin's aura as they stood frozen to the spot.
"What a powerful aura. Could it be one of the Heaven Masters?"
"What Heaven Master? Look at him. He's probably of a higher position than that Master Magaera…"
"Then… Could it be the Heaven Emperor?"
Just as the crowd whispered amongst themselves, Darryl flashed a smile as he sighed in relief.
His pupil sure came in time, or there would have been a great tragedy upon him and his men.
Just then, Master Magaera returned to his senses. He fell onto his knees, speaking in a tone full of terror, "At your service, Your Royal Majesty."
Master Magaera was panicked as he spoke. Crap, could the emperor be displeased because he was away for too long and came down to the Nine Continents himself?
Just as the words rang through the air, the rest of the Godly Region soldiers kneeled at once as they cried out loudly.
"At your service, Your Royal Majesty!"
The soldiers cried out loud as their voices pierced through the heavens, making Chester and the rest stop short at the sight.
It really was the Heaven Emperor.
All at once, the Begonia Residence fell deadly quiet.
Darryl took a deep breath, flashing a bitter smile. "I've always said I don't belong in the Godly Region. My true home is in the Nine Continents. I would've had to return either way."
Aurin nodded silently.
The next second, Aurin frowned as he noticed Darry's injuries. "Are you injured, Master? Who dares to hurt my master?"
Aurin cast a glance around the room as he spoke. As he did, everyone, including Master Magaera and the soldiers, felt their chests thud in shock as none dared to say a word.
Master Magaera's forehead was especially drenched in sweat.
Crap.
He had hurt Darryl, and he would be to blame if His Royal Highness were to ask about it.
At the thought, Master Magaera did not wait for Aurin to ask further before he said, "It was I who struck him, Your Majesty."
Aurin's expression darkened at Master Magaera's words as his gaze zeroed in on him.
"You sure have quite the nerve, Magaera. Darryl Darby is my master, which makes him the Royal Master. How dare you attack him?"
