What?
Upon knowing so, the Divine Farmer's expression shifted as he stared intently at Rachelle as if he had discovered something phenomenal. "That poisonous blood was powerful enough to regress one's age?!"
The Divine Farmer's voice shook as he spoke.
Darryl nodded.
Ha ha…
Just then, the Divine Farmer returned to his senses and burst out laughing. "It seems like this poisonous blood's pretty useful, ha ha…" The Divine Farmer cared about nothing more than medicine, and had been relentlessly researching the poisonous blood ever since he had returned. He had just been stressing out over not being able to yield anything, and was overjoyed to hear Darryl's words.
If he were to research this properly, he might just be able to have a solution for human mortality.
"Elder!"
Seeing the joyous look on his face, Darryl said with a smile, "You're the wisest when it comes to medicine, Divine Farmer. I brought her all the way here just to see if you could turn her back to her original self."
As the words rang through the air, Rachelle stared intently at the Divine Farmer as well.
The Divine Famer smiled, waving his hands. "You flatter me so. You came all this way, how could I say no?"
As he spoke, the Divine Farmer looked Rachelle up and down. "It shouldn't be too hard for her to return to her real form— but I'm going to need some time."
Alright!
Darryl nodded, turning to Rachelle. "You heard him. You can stay here, and I'll come back for you when you're all done."
"Be good."
As the final word rang through the air, Darryl bent down at top speed and landed a peck on Rachelle's cheek.
Smack!
The gesture annoyed Rachelle to no end, but there was nothing she could do about it as she had already admitted to being Darryl's lover in front of Zhu.
Upon chatting a little more with the Divine Farmer, Darryl said his goodbyes before leaving for Donghai City.
……
Just then, in the Begonia Residences.
Chester and Debra sat on their respective chairs, their expressions unreadable.
Benedict stood before them respectively. It was just now that he had told the few of them whatever he had wanted to say.
"Benedict!"
Rachelle came from the Cryolet Continent, and had no family here. Where could she have gone?
Thump!
Just as they were panicking, a large crash sounded from outside.
Chester's expression shifted, and he rushed out.
Debra followed closely behind.
F*ck!
Chester cursed to himself at the sight that bestowed him.
All that could be seen were a few Elysium Gate pupils collapsed by the entrance of the Begonia Residences, painting the ground with their blood.
And in mid-air hovered a single figure.
The figure was short and squat, his skin tint a sickly-green. He looked barely human, but radiated a strong aura.
It was Scitalis.
Two days ago, Scitalis had been defeated into hiding by Chester and Debra. This had displeased him greatly, and thus he had gone into hiding to heal himself. Today he had recovered at last, and headed to the Begonia Residences first thing.
