The Wolf’s Bride by Coffee’s Tea novel Chapter 1448

Since the Insect Ruler’s uprising, the cordillera in Murrfield was managed by the military, making it hard for ordinary people to enter or leave easily.

“Alright.”

After hearing the news, Andrius had everyone change into Murrfield attire and proceeded to the small path that Kevin Leach had taken him through when they entered. They went straight to the cordillera, ready to make a direct assault.

Kate suggested, “Andrius, the Insect Ruler has many powerful experts under his command, with several Martial Gods and even some Martial Saint insect soldiers. It’ll be extremely difficult to deal with them.

“With our small group, it might be hard to deal him a fatal blow. How about I call in the experts from the Medicine Sect?”

Kate’s concerns were not unfounded.

The cordillera was the Insect Ruler’s stronghold. Who knew what existed inside?

“No.” Andrius said confidently, “War is full of deception.

“The Insect Ruler had just returned from Mount Albus and must be recuperating now. He definitely wouldn’t expect us to rush in from thousands of miles away and strike him directly. We’re banking on taking him by surprise.”

Everyone silently nodded.

Sure enough, Andrius was the Wolf King. He understood the tactics of warfare well. An ordinary person would surely not think of such things.

Everyone quickened their pace and headed toward the location of the Insect Ruler according to the intelligence—Starsnatch Cliff on Skywolf Peak.

At night, the moon in Murrfield was exceptionally bright. Under the boundless silver brilliance, occasional wisps of clouds added a touch of loneliness and desolation to the night.

At the foot of Skywolf Peak was a very steep and majestic mountain. It towered over magnificently, making people look up in awe and marvel at the wonders of creation and natural miracles.

On the mountaintop, even though it was far away, a tall tower that reached into the clouds, Starsnatch Tower, was still visible. It was where the Insect Ruler usually stayed, and its name meant ‘plucking the stars from the sky’.

“So, that’s Starsnatch Tower. It does look rather imposing.” Andrius looked at the grand tower, his eyes filled with coldness. “It’s a pity that the likes of the Insect Ruler are using it as his base, attempting to establish a new dynasty and dominate the world... It’s simply a contamination!”

Luna, Kate, and Halle all agreed.

Along the way, the scenery in Murrfield was endless and breathtaking, making people linger and forget to return.

Unfortunately, because of the Insect Ruler’s ambition, the place had seen countless wars, killings, and bloodshed, causing people to be filled with indignation.
