"Why didn’t you let me tell Nibel that we already had a solution?”
I asked Theo after Nibel left.
Could he still have his guard against Nibel?
Theo looked in the direction Nibel had just left and did not seem to have heard my question.
"Theo?" I called out to him again.
That pulled his mind back. He then looked at me. "What?”
"I was asking you why didn't you let me tell Nibel that we already have a solution?”
Theo lowered his gaze and said in a deep voice, "To surprise him." He finished that with a smile.
As if I believed him.
I wanted to ask again, but seeing that it was almost time, I had to stop. "I'm going back to Green Orange to deal with some things first. I'll interrogate you properly when I get home tonight.”
"Be careful on your way.”
If it were not for my trust in Theo, I would have released the clarification script a long time ago and false news about Grant Corporation would not be out there spreading around until now.
Green Orange.
The moment I stepped through the doors of the company, a bright voice sounded from the office. "Wanda, you’re finally here."
Then, I was pulled into the office.
"Grant Corporation’s problem had gotten so big now. Has Theo gone dumb?”
Sure enough, Shannon wanted to ask me about this.
I shrugged. "We've already thought of a countermeasure, but Theo wants to wait."
"Wait for what? Aren’t you guys supposed to be experiencing a public relations crisis at this time?”
Shannon’s thoughts were the same as mine, and I sighed. "Yes, but I think Theo has his intentions, and I believe him."
