Love

“Go get Emma Johnson.”

Ethan Carter said, then sat down at his desk, deep in thought.

While Emma was working on her first draft, Ethan’s assistant called her away, and as soon as she left, the entire design department began to whisper again.

“Come on, you guys are so boring, you have time to talk behind people’s backs, you might as well get your work done.”

Rachel Smith heard those whispers, and couldn’t help but shout angrily, instantly making the whole design department quiet down.

Emma stood in front of Ethan’s office door and knocked gently.

“Come in.”

The magnetic voice echoed through the office.

Hearing the answer, she pushed the door open and walked in, and just as she entered she noticed that Ethan didn’t look well.

She wondered in her heart, could it be that Olivia’s condition was not so good, and that. was why Ethan looked so gloomy?

“Why, does she look so bad, is she in danger?”

She raised her eyebrows slightly, a bit of flirting in her eyes, Olivia’s life and death had nothing to do with her, so she didn’t intend to pretend to be concerned.

“She’s awake, and the doctor says she’s in good health. I called you over to tell you that I’ve sent someone to check the surveillance, only today’s surveillance video has been deleted.”

She said, and turned around in a dashing manner.

Ethan was about to say something else when he realized that Emma had disappeared.

She went back to her workstation and, after careful consideration, decided to make a trip to the hospital, sitting still was killing her.

“Rachel, please keep an eye on my work, I’m going out and I’ll be back soon.

Emma briefly handed over the work at hand to Rachel, and hurriedly left the office.

At the hospital, not long after Ethan left, Olivia woke up. She realized that Ethan was no longer there, and guessed that he might have gone to ask Emma for help, but the actual situation was very different from what she guessed.

The thought of Emma being blamed made Olivia’s heart burst with joy.
