Chapter 210
Molly looked at the reports and told Sean, who was sitting on the bed, “The results are better than what I’ve expected. So, we’ll start the second stage of your treatment.” “Get some rest back home. I still have things to do here.” Molly looked up to the clock as she thought, ‘He has been through a lot for some time. It’s time for him to go home and rest.’ “I’ll wait for you. Let’s eat lunch together too.” Sean stared directly at her, and his expression was calm. No one would overthink his suggestion. “Okay,” Molly agreed. She then went out to settle her things and was busy for the whole morning before she was done with work.
She only realized that it was noon when she looked at her phone. But when she was on her way back to Sean, she hesitated and turned to look for another patient.
The door to Brycen’s ward opened abruptly, and Brycen was immediately stunned when he saw Molly entering. “Molly…” He looked surprised. But when he thought about that day with the triplets, he looked at Molly guiltily. ‘Molly is here. Is she angry at me?’ ‘Is she blaming me for not protecting the kids?’
Questions after questions were popping up in Brycen’s head endlessly, “How are you these days?” Molly ignored the shock on his face and asked immediately.
Brycen paused for a while as he thought she was going to question him, so he did not expect her to ask about his condition. “I’m okay.”
Then, Molly asked another few questions about his condition and left right after.
Brycen sát on his bed as he watched his sister leave. “Is Molly angry at me?” he mumbled. ‘Why didn’t she say anything about that incident?’ ‘Is she angry, or is she not?’
Russell had no idea either. He did not have many female friends and had only been in a few relationships, so how would he know a woman’s heart?
On the other hand, Molly changed her clothes and left with Sean. Tony went to the parking lot to drive the car to them.
