Chapter 645
If that lady liked Sean, she would be mad.
Joelle was flipping through a document, she suddenly laughed faintly, and the paper that she was squeezing wrinkled a little.
Tony walked past the cubicle as he was going to the CEO's office.
He could not help but stop walking when he heard some noises. He said to Joelle kindly, "Joelle, why are you so happy?"
She raised her head as she saw Tony, she then teased him.
"I'm happy to be able to work with you, Tony."
"Haha, you're too kind," Tony said as he smiled. He then went to find his boss to report his work.
When the human figure at the door disappeared, the smile on Joelle's face suddenly vanished. The coldness in her eyes lasted for a short time, she looked calm.
6 o'clock at night.
Sean was ready to leave as he had just finished his work. His door was opened by someone.
"Are you done with your work?" Ricky opened the door as he arrived. But, he did not walk into the office. He merely stood at the door when he asked that. He then raised his hands to fix his collar.
Tony nodded to Ricky to greet him. He then walked to the back of his boss and pushed him.
"Yes, I'm done."
Sean said that as he looked at his father.
"Let's go home and have dinner, then. Your mother had people cook for dinner. She asked me to find you and go home together," Ricky said.
"Okay." Sean did not refuse. He took out his phone to send a message to Molly. He told her that he was not able to have dinner with her.
He left with his father immediately after that.
Molly was standing by the window of the ward. The little white flower that was still blooming in the morning was now left with only the branches.
The leaves and petals were torn and left on the windowsill.
Molly quietly stared at the message that she just received, she did not reply.
"I'm not having dinner with you today..."
Molly had been distractedly thinking about the phone call that happened during the daytime for the whole day. she was even more upset when she saw Sean's message.
'Is he going to have dinner with that lady?'
The late night's cold wind flowed through the window. The leaves and petals that were scattered next to the flowerpot drifted to the ground. The branches in the flowerpot looked a little lonely.
Molly had mixed feelings.
She stood by the window to feel the cold air for a little while, she tried hard to calm herself, she did not reply to Sean's message in the end.
She immediately put her phone into her pocket. She then put the flower that was only left with branches on the bedside table next to the hospital bed. She watered the flower with enthusiasm.
'Maybe they're happily eating together...
'It's none of my business if they are eating together.
'I'm nothing to Sean. Why should I be sad about it?'
