"Of course not." Kendrix shook his head, he could not help but to laugh. "It may be troublesome if we do that too openly now. After all, you are still young."
"That's what I mean, we can't reveal it to just everyone." Sylvia was still quite rational.
It was because she cared about Kendrix's future the most, she did not want the world to know that they were in a relationship while he was still a teacher, as it would affect his career.
So, she needed to protect Kendrix well.
When she saw Kendrix staying silent, she continued to ask, "What did you mean by that just now then? Sebastian is very smart, I am sure he knows what happened from just a glance."
"That is why there is no need to hide so much in front of smart people," Kendrix said again.
Sylvia was shocked.
Kendrix went on, "What I mean to say is that you can let Sebastian know that we are in a relationship." "Should we let him know?" Sylvia blinked.
"He is a smart person, I am sure he can tell at a glance. If we continue to hide it from him, he might get angry." Kendrix thought for a moment and said, "It would be better if we were frank. This should be a way for me to protect you too. I think your family would want to see me act this way."
Sylvia was not stupid, so, she understood what Kendrix meant by that. In fact, Sebastian was someone who would probably want to protect her too.
Her brothers all wanted her to be happy. There was no doubt about that.
Kendrix told her that because he wanted to let Sebastian know about his feelings frankly, that he liked Sylvia.
As Sylvia thought about it, she stopped feeling so nervous.
"I wanted to keep this a secret," she whispered, "However, what should we do now? Should we hide our relationship or not?"
"There's no need to hide it anymore," Kendrix spoke at once, "There is nothing to hide. I will wait for Sebastian here."
Sylvia was stunned once more, then, she smiled at Kendrix.
She smiled until her eyes were bent into the shape of a crescent moon. Kendrix looked at her lovely smile, he sighed.
Was she really so happy? He was just expressing his thoughts about showing his feelings for her clearly. Yet it was enough to make her so happy. It seemed like she wanted their love to be acknowledged too.
When Kendrix saw her reaction, he was glad. He was sure that his decision to not hide it from Sebastian was right.
Seeing the smile on her face, he felt the greatest sense of satisfaction in his heart.
"Yet, what if Sebastian finds out that you and I are alone in Claudia's apartment? What if he gets angry and makes things difficult for you? Oh my, I am getting worried again." Sylvia's smile froze. She seemed very worried.
Sylvia was quite emotional, she could be happy for one second and turn worried the next. When she was happy, she would smile brightly. However, when she was not, the smile on her face would disappear instantly. She was so straightforward, and it would all happen so quickly that there was no shrewdness in it.
She was a girl who grew up in a happy environment. So, her anger, sorrow, and joy would all be shown on her face.
At that moment, Kendrix was staring at her smile. He was really worried about whether he could continue to make her smile for the rest of her life, and make her smile continue to be as pure as it was then.
What if he failed to do that?
The thought only lasted in his mind for a brief moment. After a little while, he quickly got rid of it.
"What should I do? What if Sebastian makes trouble for you?" When Sylvia realized that Kendrix was not talking, she got even more worried.
"Am I the type of person who can't deal with troublemakers?" Kendrix asked with a smile.
