Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon) novel Chapter 581

The two of them chatted in bed and forgot about the time they woke up. Ava also forgot that she was woken up by hunger.

Frank answered Ava's question, "No."

Ava was now even more perplexed. If it wasn't her mother, she wondered how Frank found out. She was hesitant, unable to believe that he could have discovered her little maneuver. Nervously, she inquired, "So, how did you find out?"

Frank smiled evilly and stared at her without blinking, making her hair stand on end. She said coquettishly, "Just tell me. Did you guess?"

Her stomach rumbled at an inappropriate time, interrupting Frank's answer. He got up and walked to the wardrobe. "I have a stomachache. Do you want to get up and eat?"

Frank had retrieved a shirt from the wardrobe and presented it to Ava. "Indeed, it should be this one. I don't feel like wearing the other. I prefer the black short-sleeved shirt."

Ava pointed at the wardrobe. Although she couldn't see it, she still commanded.

"Change into something else. It's a little hot today. Black absorbs heat. White is better." Frank rummaged through the wardrobe and glanced at the black one that Ava said.

"Oh, okay." Recognizing her own mistake, Ava quickly acquiesced. Whatever she wore was fine. As long as Frank was by her side, she felt it would look good.

Ava today was especially squeamish and clingy. She allowed Frank to put on her clothes without making a fuss. Frank knew that she felt that she had made a mistake and could not help but curl her lips into a faint smile.

Ava was quiet. She puffed up her cheeks as if she were thinking about something. After a moment, she said, "Frank, I didn't mean to not tell you. Alright, I didn't tell you on purpose. I was just a little nervous back then, but I'm not too nervous now."

After getting dressed, Frank gently picked her up and placed her on his lap. He hugged her tightly and smiled. "You're still making small movements when you're nervous."

Upon hearing this, Ava widened her eyes, wondering how she had been discovered. Her eyelashes fluttered, filled with doubt. The questioning look was evident in the depths of her eyes.

Frank asked, "Are all the things you brought pierced? Where did you learn to do that?"

At this moment, Frank found it hard to believe that Ava could do this under his nose. He was actually unprepared. If this was done by Rose, Frank would not be surprised at all.

If it weren't for the hidden meaning in Trevon's words, he wouldn't have had any suspicions. It was fortunate that he was craving a cigarette. Otherwise, he wouldn't have come into contact with the greasy substance.

Speaking of this, Ava still felt a sense of accomplishment. After all, Frank didn't doubt it at all.

She was so awesome.

He said truthfully, "I stabbed them all. I was afraid that if I couldn't hit them, I would poke many small holes." After saying that, he looked smug, and his eyes curled.

Frank placed his palm on her stomach again, with mixed feelings. Although he could not feel anything, he felt that he could feel everything. He could even feel the existence of the child. After a while, Frank said in a deep voice, "Baby Ava, actually, I can wait."

There's no need to make her do all this. Combining academics with pregnancy can be exhausting. Not everyone's pregnancy is as effortless as Hackett's wife, who seemed to lay eggs.

Ava sat on his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck. She leaned on his shoulder and said gloomily, "No, I promised to marry you during the summer vacation, but you don't want to register your marriage."

As soon as he said this, Frank was stunned for a few seconds. When he came back to his senses, his hand stroked Ava Turner's hair from time to time. "Baby Ava, it's not that I don't want to register our marriage." He did not want her to feel restrained because of the certificate.

When he heard Frank say that he did not want to register their marriage, Ava immediately moved away from his shoulder. He tilted his head and leaned close to Frank's face. He asked, "Do you want to register your marriage too?"

"You can take it if you want." Looking into Ava's expectant eyes, Frank smiled.

"Really? Then let's go tomorrow. Will Athana still be in Sapphire City?" Ava continued to look at Frank with bright eyes. He was extremely excited and waited for an answer.

Ava was pregnant, so it was not appropriate for her to run back and forth. She chuckled. "Just do it here."

"Well, from tomorrow onwards, you won't be my Frank anymore. You'll be my Ava's husband." Ava held Frank's cheek and kissed it. Her voice was crisp and loud.

Ava's saliva was still on her cheeks. Frank did not reach out to wipe it away. He just smiled at her and said calmly, "Are you still nervous?"

She shook her head like a rattle drum. "I'm not nervous anymore." When she was alone, she would be afraid and think nonsense. When she was with Frank, she did not seem nervous anymore. She felt very safe.

His eyes were filled with emotions as he looked at her. "Baby Ava, if you have anything to say in the future, just say it. You can't hide it from me. Do you understand? Can you remember?"

She reached out to play with his collar, pulling and smoothing it. "I'm just afraid that if the child is miscarried, I'll tell you that you'll be disappointed again in the future. I want to tell you when the child grows up."

"A while ago, Rose recommended me to watch the TV series. After the female lead got pregnant, she was especially happy to tell everyone about her pregnancy. Then, the child suddenly disappeared. The entire family was especially sad. I don't want this to happen."

"Furthermore, the doctor emphasized three months ago that extra caution is required. The likelihood of miscarriage is higher in the initial three months compared to the later period." She even spent less than 200 dollars consulting an online doctor.

As for why she didn't look for Sherri, it was because once Sherri knew, it was equivalent to everyone knowing.

She could only seek advice from afar. In fact, what the online doctor told Ava was also a possibility. Doctors usually respond cautiously, avoiding definitive answers and ensuring that the worst-case scenarios are communicated. In the end, they often add a disclaimer, stating that they cannot guarantee the absence of unexpected events, although they are usually unlikely to occur.

As for Ava, she did not care about the good or the bad. For example, she did not dare to tell Frank about the online consultation.

"After listening to Ava's words, Frank silently cursed Rose in his heart. The chaotic television recommendations had left the Ava with a shadow."
